The 93 people panel of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will be announcing the nominees for the 2021 Golden Globe awards on the 4^th of February 2021. The nominations this year are coming a little late than the normal reward cycle because the band for the nominees has been expanded to give a push to the artists seeing the impact of the pandemic on the cinema & theatre industry alike. The ceremony is set to be aired on 28^th February 2021 and will be the first major awards ceremony cycle for the year 2021. The Academy Awards have been pushed back a little to 25^th April 2021, making way for the Golden Globes to take the lead in this year’s award cycle.

Due to the pandemic, 2020 saw a limited number of movie releases, but there are certain shows on Netflix & Amazon that are destined to steal away the spotlight. Shows like Ozark & the Boys are set to make a mark.
