You must have heard of things going wrong while filming movies and series. Sometimes the stuntmen or actors hurt themselves during an action stunt and sometimes actors hurt each other during a behind-the-scenes fight. But the following accidents just can’t be explained given their strange and mysterious nature. Perhaps they were acts of God or some other supernatural entity. If any film set saw the wrath of God, it was “The Passion of the Christ”. Actor Jim Caviezel who played Jesus Christ in this controversial movie was subject to many medical crises like pneumonia and dislocated bones. To make matters worse, the actor was hit by lightning and his crewmates legit saw fire coming out of his head.

He had also made four robotic sharks for the underwater horror “Jaws” that is said to be equally dangerous like the real-life ones. Isla was seconds away from drowning but the brave fighter managed to break free in the 11th hour.

Everything was going until one day they wake up to find out that 27 movies set animals died as they fell into a basin. The sinkhole wasn’t there in the beginning and cracked open when the animals were resting on it.

Waterworld

The apocalyptic film “Waterworld” was shot on the real-life sea which later turned out to be a horrible decision. Not only did the crew suffer sea sickness repeatedly but some actors even got stung by jellyfish. They were also hit by a massive storm over Hawaii which lost a stuntman into the sea. After several hours of searching, he was found and rescued by the Coast Guard.

Lady Sif may be one of the warriors of God who can bear any amount of attacks. But Jaimie Alexander has no such powers and suffered a severe back injury. She fell over slippery stairs in the rain and damaged 11 vertebrae. The actress then had to stay in bed for over a month before joining back the studios.

The poor actor had to stay in bandages for several weeks.

What could possibly go wrong in the classic children’s movie? There were no stunts or dangerous scenes in this fantasy film. Well, actress Margaret Hamilton who played the Wicked Witch had caught fire due to her inflammable makeup and ended up with severe burn marks. Not just her, other crew members also endured some or the other problem. Several actors and members of the crew suffered allergic reactions and boil on the skin due to the burning temperature and costume and makeup on the sets.

Johnny Depp was on the verge of getting his chest crushed while shooting for “The Lone Ranger”. He was on a horse when it wildly threw him off and was about to gallop its mighty hooves over him. Luckily, Depp was able to escape and be rescued on time.
