New Rumor Reveals The Disney+ Series Which Will Bring Blue Marvel To The MCU

While most people are looking forward to the introduction of heroes like the Eternals, Shang-Chi, Black Knight, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Spectrum, & others, there’s yet another hero that Marvel might be strongly considering to introduce. This hero is none other than Adam Brashear aka Blue Marvel. And a new rumor fuels the speculation that Blue Marvel might be headed to the MCU within this year with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Rumor Disney+ Series Will Bring Blue Marvel To The MCU

YouTube channel, The Lords of the Long Box have reported a new scoop that the infamous Mikey Sutton specifically wrote for them. Here’s what this scoop reads:

“The MCU just maybe adding another scientific genius and he’s a true Marvel, a “Blue Marvel” in fact. There has been speculation brimming for the Blue Marvel. A part of it is wishful thinking as the character is quite quote following which has skyrocketed back issue prices of his debut comic – “Adam The Legend of the Blue Marvel #1” that came out in 2008. There’s also the casting of Carl Lumbly and in the Falcon in The Winter Soldier, which some feel his for the Blue Marvel and not Isaiah Bradley, the original black Captain America and the grandfather of Patriot from the Young Avengers.”

Falcon And The Winter Soldier Feature Black Captain America

Well, actor Carl Lumbly could fit in very well as the genius scientist & physicist, Adam Brashear. But as Sutton himself suggests that this could just be wishful thinking. The story of Carl Lumbly playing Isaiah Bradley makes more sense since The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is supposed to be a series about the super-soldier program. Surely, the US government didn’t stop experimenting and trying to recreate the super-soldier serum as the Incredible Hulk is the proof of that. Carl Lumbly’s Isaiah Bradley being the first black Captain America of the 60s will make a lot of sense when Sam & Bucky will unravel the secrets of the super-soldier program.

Rumor Disney+ Series Will Bring Blue Marvel To The MCU

As for Blue Marvel, Mikey Sutton goes onto suggest that if he doesn’t make his debut in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (which he most likely won’t), he’d still be a strong contender to appear in the upcoming unannounced SWORD series that WandaVision will be setting up. Sutton continued:

“Blue Marvel is among characters that are being seriously considered for the SWORD project on Disney+. Whether that’ll be his MCU debut, remains to be seen. I’m told Blue Marvel is highly appealing to Marvel Studios on multiple levels. First, he adds to the diversity that Marvel Studios is seeking to expand. Secondly, he is well suited for the increasingly cosmic direction the MCU is headed in. In fact there have been discussions of him in the Annihilation movie, possibly teaming up with the likes of Nova and Adam warlock.”

Well, this part of the scoop is what we definitely agree with. Adam Brashear will be a perfect candidate to appear in SWORD and he will be joining the likes of Monica Rambeau (the future Spectrum). Blue Marvel & Spectrum are also a part of the team called the Ultimates. This team also includes Miss America (arriving in Doctor Strange 2), Captain Marvel & Black Panther. So, the line up for this team will be complete when the SWORD series arrives. And then we’ll wait and see whether or not the “Annihilation” movie that Sutton has suggested in the past happens or not.
