Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Theory States Gamora Might Have a New Love Interest

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Theory:

There’s a lot of speculation about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as it is far away from its theatrical release. We will have to wait at least until May 2023, which means that the film is almost 3 years away due to the fact that James Gunn will be occupied with The Suicide Squad until August 2021. We got a massive scoop from Roger Wardell, who was right about all his intel about Avengers: Endgame. So, we believe that his scoop held quite a bit of truth as far as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is concerned. Take a look at what he wrote:

We get information about Drax & his daughter. We get a lot of information about Rocket as his origin story will be looked upon in Vol. 3. Lylla was named as his associate back in Vol. 1, and his creation was teased in Vol. 1 & Avengers: Endgame. So, these aspects will certainly come into play because James Gunn himself has teased that Rocket will be a key player in the next movie. But what he haven’t heard a lot about is Gamora.

The ending of Avengers: Endgame teased that the Guardians will be looking for time displaced 2014 Gamora who may or may not be on Terra. Gamora is the common link between Nebula & Peter Quill, and as Wardell reported, it does seem that they will become closer friends as they search for Gamora. But, we’ve got a theory that Peter will be facing a major hurdle in getting Gamora back because she might have a new comic accurate love interest.

It must be really hard for Peter because right after Gamora acknowledged that the unspoken thing between her & Peter was actually love, Thanos took her away. And soon after that when Peter got to see her, she was a completely different person who gave him a nutcracker. And now, things are probably going to feel even more painful as Screen Rant suggests that Gamora might end up falling in love with Adam Warlock.

Adam Warlock in Guardians Vol. 3

Even though we haven’t seen Adam Warlock in the MCU, James Gunn has been setting him up since Vol. 1. In the post credits scene of Vol. 2, we saw that Ayesha had brought him to life. Despite the fact that Gunn has teased his absence in Vol. 3, we surely believe that he will show up in one way or another. He has to be a potential Guardians villain to start things off since Ayesha will set him after them. So, Gamora being his lover and supporting him would actually be tough for Quill and his team.

The reason we say that he could be a potential love interest for Gamora is because he is her lover in the comics. He saved Gamora after she turned against Thanos and got mortally wounded by him. Her soul was absorbed into the Soul Stone that Adam carried, and the two lived happily in the Soul World for many years. But when Thanos created the Infinity Gauntlet, Adam brought himself & her back to the world of the living. Only Gamora didn’t live for longer period of time because Thanos snapped her out of existence like he did half the population of the entire Universe.

Facts About Adam Warlock

Warlock became an important part of the Infinity Gauntlet storyline as many readers would be aware. When Thanos was defeated, everyone was brought back to life. Adam took charge of the Gauntlet, and he separated the Infinity Stones. Gamora ended up getting the time stone. After some time, she & Adam got together and lived together in a pocket dimension.

The MCU is obviously very different from the comics. But the theory of Warlock & Gamora falling for each other might make sense in a way that Adam could be faking it in order to get to the Guardians. 2014 Gamora obviously didn’t approve of Quill, so she might have encountered Adam Warlock and become closer to him. That would allow Adam to use her in order to get to the Guardians. He will also become a hurdle for Peter, rubbing salt in his wounds by dating the love of his life. Let’s see if this theory comes true.
