Thor Ragnarok Concept Art Reveals Loki Royal Suit:
Thor: Ragnarok is one of the best movies of the MCU, solely because of how Taika Waititi came in and stripped the dead weight off of the franchise. The movie turned into a straight-up action-comedy and we loved the new version of Thor that was brought in. But what Taika did with Loki was also funny and interesting. Loki’s arc in Thor: Ragnarok was all about his transformation from a villain into a hero & protector of Asgard and a true Odinson.
Loki’s suit in the film wasn’t his best. But neither was Thor’s. Still, their looks totally worked with the aesthetic of the film. But you’d be quite surprised to see that Loki could have had a very different, royal, King like outfit in the film. It would’ve fit well in the first act of the film where Loki was posing as the King of Asgard instead of Odin. Take a look:
There are several other concept art designs for the way Loki could’ve looked in Thor: Ragnarok and in the MCU overall. Loki might adopt some of these different outfits in the upcoming series which will be entirely about him. Till now, he has mostly had to stay in the shadow of Thor. But the upcoming Loki series will make it all about him.
It will be interesting to see what path Loki follows after taking the Tesseract. After all, this is a villainous Loki who is trill probably trying to get free of the effect that the Mind Stone had on him. This is a Loki that we should be a bit afraid of. Although, there is obviously a chance that the series will gradually turn him into an anti-hero, if not a full-fledged hero. Perhaps, this turn will be because of Loki’s adventures with the TVA. Let’s see what happens. The Loki series will possibly arrive in the summer of 2021.
