Fast And Furious 9 Director Confirms Han Return is Because “It’s All Connected”

Fast And Furious 9 Director Confirms Han Return:

The Fast and Furious 9 movie, called Fast 9, will be an epic high octane action-adventure movie that will see the return of several core characters of the movie franchise along with the resurrection of a long-dead hero. The entry of John Cena as the antagonist of the movie and the brother of Vin Diesel’s Dom came as a shock to fans. But the end of the trailer showed us the revival of Han, the character everyone believed to have died at the end of The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. And now, the Director of the Fast and Furious 9 movie has revealed to us just how Han returns to the land of the living.

Justin Lin, Director of the Fast and Furious 9, reveals that the entire franchise is well-connected and is the reason they are able to pull off such impossible stunts with each consecutive installment. Han was last seen dying within the embers of a car crash at the post-credits sequence of Tokyo Drift. But somehow he has managed to come back. Deckard Shaw, who targeted Han and killed him to send a message to Dominic Toretto, was not successful at completing his mission as it seems.

Lin was in an interview with MTV International when he revealed to us an impossible secret about Han, who first appeared in Lin’s Better Luck Tomorrow, widely regarded as Han’s true origin story before he made a jump to the Fast and Furious franchise. He said and we quote:

“You’ll find out, but Han is a very special character for me,” Lin told MTV International. “He’s been kind of a special character throughout, and when I left in [Fast & Furious 6], we kind of left together. One of the reasons for me to come back was to bring him back.”

He continues adding even more interesting points:

“I was at a Q&A for a film and someone in the audience said they were confused about what happened,” Lin told the interviewer. “It really kind of got in my head and inspired me that if we’re gonna continue, we should have justice for Han, for sure.”

After Han is seen back on his feet again, Justin Lin claims that it is all connected. “Justice Is Coming” is the new mantra of the new Fast and Furious movie. The movie will bring back the family-oriented high-end action drama featuring guns, cars, and women in all their glory, something the franchise is known to do in all its previous installments to date. The world is watching the Fast and furious franchise. They never intend to run out of gas with both feet on the metal pedal for this one. Han’s return is just icing on the cake.

The only other movie franchise that has managed to pull off this level of planning is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The way they brought the Infinity War arc to the big screens by slowly unraveling the true plotline, little by little with each movie they made that ultimately resulted in the Infinity War arc, the culmination of 21 previous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies is something that will forever go down in history as one of the greatest examples of proper storytelling. If the Fast and Furious franchise has also decided to take a similar route, we only hope they manage to pull this off in a fashion grander than their stunts. It all comes down to 22 May 2020 when the Fast 9 movie will be released.
