Marvel’s What if…? Series Footage Shows Zombie Captain America, Captain Carter & More

What if…? Series Shows Zombie Captain America, Captain Carter:

Marvel is launching 8 different series on Disney+. All of this is happening in a matter of 2.5 years. Every series is going to be very different from each other, but the most unique one among all of them is going to be Marvel’s “What if…?” Series which will be full of animated episodes. This show will feature the Watcher, who will be voiced by Jeffrey Wright. He will reintroduce us to the MCU movies in a much different way. There’s gonna be so much to unravel from this show as all the MCU heroes including the likes of Captain America & Iron Man will return.

At the D23 presentation of Disney+, the attendees got to see the first look at the series. Disney showed a trailer which will obviously not be available for the general audiences to see just yet. But at least we do have the description of the footage that was shown at the event. Here’s the description that came from ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis:

“The footage sees Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and several key MCU momnents. Jeffrey Wright narrates how time is a [river] of endless possibilities. In animated form, Captain America goes in to get his super soldier transformation but the room explodes. Star-Lord is someone else. Bucky and Cap fight on a train — because Cap is a Marvel zombie. Peggy Carter gets the super soldier treatment. She is Captain Britain. She stops a car with the shield and flips it over her. The Watcher is shown. Comic-loke panels make-up the What If…? logo with images from episodes.”\

Moreover, we also got a few photos. The one that has got viral is Peggy Carter as Captain Britain. We heard that the series will portray Peggy Carter getting the Super Soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers. As you can see above, Hayley Atwell was also on stage to promote the series. Word around is that the series will bring 23 episodes and every episode will be dedicated to tell an alternate tale of the 23 movies from the Infinity Saga.

Yes, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans will also be among these names even though the list doesn’t show them. The next 2 years are going to bring 10 or more projects, and all we can hope is for Marvel to continue their 100% success stories. They do manage to make every movie awesome, but these series have the opportunity to do even more. Let’s see what happens.
