Spider-Man: Far From Home is about to arrive at the theatres, and it is actually fair to say that we do know quite a lot about this upcoming film. The trailers have revealed that the movie will take place right after the Avengers: Endgame and it will majorly deal with the Multiverse. Mysterio is introduced as a good buy, but we all know that he will turn bad sooner or later. Moreover, people also seem to believe that he is the man behind the emergence of the Elementals. But Tom Holland recently revealed a major spoiler about these Element based monsters that has given an even clearer picture.
Potential Spoilers for Spider-Man: Far From Home follow.
The reaction of the crowd upon seeing this was amazing. Everyone realized that our good ol’ Tom has done it again. Apparently he tells people that
“Mysterio in this movie is actually my new best friend. We team up together to fight these Elemental creatures because when Thanos snapped his fingers, these creatures came through the dimensional rift.”
Tom Holland revealed that Thanos’ snap his what created the Elementals and the dimensional rift. Now, this could totally be what the case is, but what if Tom Holland is lying? In the video that we see above, he gives us the spoiler very confidently. Since Tom has done it in the past, people just fall for it easily believing that Holland would have given us another major spoiler. But if you actually remember the last spoiler that he gave us, you’d know that he also knows how to fake it.
Back when Infinity War didn’t come out, Holland said that Benedict Cumberbatch had a lot of complicated lines about the Quantum Realm. Then Infinity War came out, we didn’t see anything of that sorts. That led us to believe that we’d see something like that in Endgame since Quantum Realm is going to be involved in it as well. But having seen Endgame, this wasn’t the case at all. It’s possible that Doctor Strange’s Quantum Realm related scenes could have been changed with the reshoots, but is it also possible that Tom Holland could have been faking it back then?
What if Marvel tells actors to intentionally reveal fake spoilers? Samuel L. Jackson in an interview claimed that Captain Marvel has the ability to Time Travel. But in a later interview, he revealed that he was just blowing off steam and having fun with the people. So, Tom Holland could do the same as well! Revealing fake spoilers obviously gets people really excited and it gets them talking. It actually proves to be a great tactic, so we shouldn’t be surprised if the actors are told to intentionally reveal these fake plot points.
The only guy who doesn’t do that is Mark Ruffalo. He has revealed major spoilers time and time again, but even he has gotten smarter. Revealing spoilers could get actors in serious trouble, so we could assume that Tom Holland blatantly gave us fake spoilers recently.
Whatever he said could have been completely or partially wrong. The Elementals could be a creation of Mysterio itself. But we’ll have to wait and see for ourselves. Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 2. It is going to star Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Zendaya (Michelle Jones), Jake Gyllenhaal (Mysterio), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Marisa Tomei (May Parker), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Angourie Rice (Betty, Jacob Batalon (Ned), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), and Numan Acar (Magnum).
Here’s the official Synopsis:
“Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!”
