With Endgame paving way for a new era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the stage is set for Spider-Man: Far From Home to lead the charge to establish a new set of superheroes. Spider-Man: Far From Home will introduce Mysterio aka Quentin Beck into the MCU. It will also feature the return of Nick Fury and Maria Hill, the two characters’ first-ever appearance after the Snap turned them to dust in Infinity War. But there is one more character we are all too familiar with that may also going to step into the screen this time in Spider-Man: Far From Home. And that character is none other than our idol Iron Man. Tony Stark is going to make a cameo appearance in the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming if this theory is to be trusted. Presenting – Spider-Man: Far From Home may feature cameo appearance of Iron Man!!
A new theory on Reddit is gaining a lot of attention right now. The theory provides us with a logical framework to help Robert Downey Junior make his last and final MCU appearance post-Avengers: Endgame. Now let us get to the theory first before you try to hunt us for our heads.
But do not worry, it is not a time travel theory or a multi-verse theory that we are talking about. It might be simpler than that. The Reddit user D/Kmistry23 is the one that brought us this theory. He claims that the cameo appearance of Iron Man might be already there in the trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home. It is just that we have been unable to make it out or maybe it is just way too well hidden.
The scene in question is when Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in the movie, is in the back of a car as he is taking up a pair of shades and has a really surprised expression written all over his face. The scene may not be pointing at Peter Parker looking at something at the back of the car from the rear window. But it just might be possible that it is the shades that could be the key to understand why Peter Parker is shocked.
Maybe the Shades are actually a gift from Tony Stark to Peter, or maybe it was made by Tony Stark to get to Peter Parker in case of Tony’s death. The Shades could be holding a video-recording of Tony Stark explaining what it means to be a superhero and an Avenger and how important it is for him to live life and understand it in order to find a reason to become a superhero and save countless others. Maybe it is Tony’s recording that prompts Peter to take a trip to Europe with his friends and get into a relationship with MJ. Provided it is tony Stark we are talking about, such elaborate technology is child’s play for him to make.
It is definitely going to hit us right where it hurts. Tony Stark imparting the last of his wisdom to his sole protégé is going to be a teary-eyed event. Some of us might end up crying making that cameo, knowing very well that this might be the very last time we see the legendary Robert Downey Junior play the titular character.
