Spider-Man: Far From Home Merchandise Tells Us When & Where Spidey Suits Will Change

Spider-Man: Far From Home will soon get a major push in its marketing once Avengers: Endgame comes out. The film is less than 3 months away and we have seen only 1 trailer. So, first of all we’d be getting a new trailer as soon as Avengers: Endgame comes out. But a few products related to the film have already made their way to the market and the internet. LEGO always turns out to be a major culprit for leaks and it has already shown its colors as far as the Homecoming sequel is concerned.

We’ve seen that Happy Hogan will actually bring in the Cavalry in the form of a Stark Industries Quinjet. He’s gonna team up with Nick Fury and Spider-Man to fend off a drone attack led by Mysterio. This could very well be in the third act of the film. As far as the first and second acts are concerned, we will see Peter go on vacation with his school friends and there he will be recruited by Nick Fury to stop the Elementals.

Then from country to country moving through Europe, we will see Spidey change suits and take on different Element based villains, probably unleashed by Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio. This was the basic plot that we could make out from the trailers. Well, Spider-Man: Far From Home has begun its product placement, and the Doctor Pepper Cans have spoilers right on the freakin’ Labels. Take a look:

We know that Peter first arrives in Prague, and there he will have his homecoming suit, as shown by the image. Then his second pit stop will possible be Venice Italy that is where the Stealth Suit comes into play. The final country of his vacation has to be London because that is where we see the Red Black Suit, and Mysterio as well.

So, we do know quite a bit about the film. Mysterio has to be developed as Peter Parker’s friend at first, so we can imagine that he will unite with Peter at Prague only, and that is where Hydro-Man will make his attack. The battle in London could be in the third act, and that is probably where the Stark Industries Quinjet could come into play. Although it could be in New York as well. But the funny thing is that Tom Holland actually began shooting in London.

Mysterio seems to be one of the greater Spider-Man villains and that is why his turn from a hero to villain would feel amazing. What’s more exciting is that Jake Gyllenhaal is bringing life to the character. At CCXP, Jake Gyllenhaal weighed in upon how his character gets recruited by Fury and what’s the tie up between them. He said:

“There are these threats to the world, the Elementals, elemental creatures. And Mysterio is someone who knows about them and wants to make sure that the world is safe from them. And Nick Fury asks him to come on and help because he’s the only one who really understands them. And then he teams up with the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and unfortunately has to make him become more than a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.”

He also spoke about Mysterio with the Los Angeles Times, and he answered the question of why he took on this role in particular:

“It’s great. He’s a great character. It’s one of those things, people have asked me for a number of years, ‘You wanna do a movie like that? If you were asked to, would you?’ And my response has always been, particularly since being at Sundance, so many of the stories have always been, for many years since I’ve been coming here, character-driven, and that has always been my desire, is to find something in that space, that seems to match my skill and also my own honesty. And it just so happened that it does with that part, so I’m glad that people feel excited about it.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 5.
