Tom Holland’s Peter Parker first debuted in Captain America: Civil War and won every fan’s heart with his quirky portrayal of the web-slinging Marvel superhero. After that Holland was rewarded with his own standalone production featuring him as the lead. Holland again portrayed Spider-Man aka Peter Parker in Avengers: Infinity War. Although he died, he left a short but lasting legacy in the MCU. One of these legacies was Holland wearing three different suits every time he came to the screens. And for the planned Homecoming sequel, Peter Parker is going to do it again. Presenting – New Theory reveals how Spider-Man gets his Stealth suit in Spider-Man: Far From Home!!

Peter Parker started off small in Civil War. He was wearing a home-made suit that was basically useless apart from concealing his identity from the rest of the world. Then with Iron Man coming into the picture, Spider-Man finally found his true calling when he was given the Stark-tech suit which came loaded with a lot of gadgets and gizmos. Peter Parker got the surprise of a lifetime when he went to outer space with the Iron Spider suit aiding him in a battle against Thanos.

The supposed new Stealth suit that Spider-Man is about to wear in the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming is reportedly arriving from a long-standing character within the MCU. Tom Holland had once claimed that Spider-Man will be wearing the same suit he wore in Homecoming but nothing could be further from the truth.

Why does Spider-Man have a new suit in Spider-Man: Far From Home?

There could be two main reasons for Spider-Man getting a new suit in Far From home. The first one is that perhaps Disney pushed for it. Since it is a new movie and the sales of any movie franchise based on superheroes and comic books is most in merchandise. Getting Spider-Man a new suit could be Disney’s way of cashing in on the cash cow that is Peter Parker.

The Second reason is that maybe Spider-Man needs a new suit because he is not going against one enemy this time. Jake Gyllenhaal is confirmed to play the role of Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home. But he is far from being the only villain. Chameleon and other Spider-Man villains might also make an appearance when Peter Parker goes for his overseas trip in Europe. He needs this suit because Spider-Man cannot go against so many villains without the proper gear which the Homecoming suit clearly lacks.

There is a third reason though. Maybe, Spider-Man popping up right when Peter Parker is in Europe at the time might ring some alarms. So, Peter Parker decides to use the new suit to spy on his enemies. The new suit also lacks a Spider symbol on the chest and reportedly has optical camouflage functions. Spider-Man is going to become a super spy in Far from Home.

Who gave Peter the new stealth suit?

Spider-Man is not without his own past. Peter’s history in the MCU has been shrouded in utter mystery. There is an on-going theory that Spider-Man’s parents were actually government scientists working for a secret organization that was the reason Peter gained his powers in the first place. And the organization they were working for was none other than Shield.

Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders are confirmed to appear in Far from Home. If that is indeed the case, then Spider-Man will probably got his new suit from Nick Fury, who is rumored to be taking the role of Spider-Man’s mentor in Europe after Iron Man’s supposed demise in Avengers 4.

So there you have it, Shield and Peter Parker will be working closely this time and the new Stealth Suit is a gift to the friendly neighborhood vigilante to help in his efforts to take down Mysterio and co in Europe.  If things are really going the way we expect it to, all things would start to connect soon. We are just waiting for an official source to confirm or sink this rumor. Until then, it will still be every fan boy’s working theory.
