Avengers: Endgame is done and the pressure of spoiling the movie for everyone else is now lifted. We’ve seen how the Infinity Saga ends, and it was so satisfying and fulfilling on so many different levels. Destiny arrived for many Avengers as they pass on the torch to new heroes so they could take things forward from there on. We saw so much in 3 hours and Marvel has to be given credit for the way they handled things.

The marketing did not let any major spoilers out lose, and we are grateful for what we got to see at the end. Now that we’ve seen this mega finale, we can actually rest. But it is still our duty to not spoil the film for others. The most relieved person in the world currently is Mark Ruffalo. He did good this time as compared to what he did at the time of Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War. He has even tweeted being relieved of the stress of not spoiling the film for others.

But did he prevent any spoilers from letting out? Did he break his record of giving out something big either in the beginning or at the end? Well, he most certainly did not, because he actually did leave a big spoiler from the end of the movie for the world to take in prior to the release. In his interview with E!, he said that he shot multiple endings for a film. He said:
“I shot, like, five different endings to this movie. I didn’t even get a whole script of this movie. I don’t know why. The script I did get had dummy scenes in it. He [pointing to Chris Evans] gets married in this!”
As it turns out, Cap went back to the past and lived his life with Peggy Carter. The two had their dance as promised, and we see an old Captain America from the present day. So, not only did Cap get married (probably), but he also must have had kids. Mark Ruffalo did spoil the end of Endgame in a way, and that keeps his record for spoiling 3 consecutive movies unknowingly intact!
Still in all fairness. We love Mark and we cannot imagine an Avengers movie without him. But talking about the spoilers he gave away for Infinity War and Ragnarok, we have to admit that those two were the most lethal spoilers of all time. But the biggest incident according to everyone was with Ragnarok. Ruffalo and the Avengers cast agreed upon this while being interviewed with EW.
Here’s how the whole interview went:
“EW – What’s the biggest thing you’ve spilled about a movie, Mark?
ScarJo – What about when you streamed the first 10 minutes of Thor: Ragnarok?
RDJ – That’s gotta be it.
Ruffalo – That was the one that got me the call from up high.
Hemsworth – Wait, wait, that was actually genius! There might be some strategy there, because [the audience] laughed so hard during that [footage]. All [viewers] could hear was laughing. They went, ‘It must be good!’
Ruffalo – It sort of turned around on me. Because when I came to work on Monday [on the set of Endgame] everyone ran up to me. I thought they were coming to scream at me — Barry [Curtis, ‘supreme security at Marvel Studios’], he threw his arms around me. ‘That was genius! We got more press than we could have possibly paid for!’”
While we had heard about him accidentally leaking the first 15 minutes of audio of Thor: Ragnarok through Instagram Live, we never actually knew what was the consequence of it all. As it turns out, it all turned out amazingly well for everyone at Marvel. Moreover, Ruffalo actually got praised for doing that. What an amazing life he’s living!
Avengers: Endgame is currently playing in the theatres. Go watch it and have the time of your life!
