Avengers: Endgame Gets an Official Rating

We all are excited for Avengers: Endgame and there’s nothing we can do except wait for its release on April 26. All our questions will be answered with this movie. There have been hundreds of theories by Marvel fans but after all, they are just theories which are keeping us fed until the movie’s release but the truth will unravel then only. Meanwhile, the official rating of the film has been disclosed to the fans.

The rating is, as expected, PG-13, just like that of every other MCU movie. The rating was announced through a featurette, which was released by Marvel Studios earlier in the previous week. Well, this hasn’t come as a surprise to many because we are used to this rating.

Talking about future Marvel projects then there were rumors that Black Widow solo movie could be the first R-rated film of MCU. But, the claims and speculations were discarded by Kevin Feige. He had said,

“It never was going to be. Somebody writes, ‘I hear it’s R-rated!’ And then everybody writes it up.”

But, Marvel fans are really interested in knowing the future of Deadpool and other R-rated Fox characters. Bob Iger has already said openly a few times that he would go forward with Fox’s R-rated movie projects and the creator of Deadpool, Rob Liefeld had also stated regarding Deadpool 3,

“Nothing like deadlines to clear your head,” Liefeld added. “Let me be clear Deadpool 3 will happen, some form, some fashion. That’s not a concern to me. Disney paid $60 billion for Fox and Deadpool is the most valuable asset in today’s market. Makes more than X-Men films.”

Only time is going to tell us whether things are going to change with the inclusion of Deadpool & other R-rated characters in the MCU or not. Meanwhile, all the focus is on Avengers: Endgame releasing on April 26th.
