25 days left until we get to watch the biggest movie of the year and we can be sure that Marvel won’t be giving us any more trailers. Well, it is good that we know the least about this film as there are plenty of mysteries that are left to be solved. All of those being revealed directly at the theatres will surely be overwhelming for us. But a few of these secrets have sort of been revealed by the various toys released.
LEGO has been a major aspect when it comes to spoiling a particular film. Even for Avengers: Endgame, we’ve had some major Lego leaks. But the most prominent leak of all has been the attack on the Avengers facility as Thanos leads the Chittauri and the Outriders to the home of the heroes, presumably to get the Infinity Gauntlet that they have somehow acquired (as shown revealed by the LEGO set itself).
The Russos did mention the fact that all the action figures aren’t exactly accurate. We’ve seen proof of this as the last time before Infinity War, there was an action figure that showed the Hulk breaking out of the Hulkbuster. That clearly never happened. But when two different sets of action figures tell you the same thing, then you have got to believe the narrative presented by them. So here are some standees that confirm an attack upon the Avengers facility.
As you can see, Iron Man has his new Mark LXXXV armor, while Cap is also wearing the new comic-inspired suit. Black Widow has her long braided Red Hair and we’ve got the menacing Professor Hulk in his Costume. But the figure that you’re really supposed to focus upon is of Thanos in his armor. He has his double-bladed sword as seen in all the other action figures and promo arts but if you see beneath his foot, he is standing upon a big broken Down “A.”
This massive “A” is obviously the insignia of the Avengers and the only place you can find it written in the movies is the Avengers facility. So Thanos will bring the fight to their home and he’s gonna wreak havoc upon the heroes with 2 of his menacing armies. We recently got a detailed look at Thanos through the reveals that came from Hot Toys. For those of you don’t know about Hot Toys, they make exact replicas of heroes and actors in the movies. Take a look at Thanos:
We don’t know why all the marketing material has been showing a perfectly fine Infinity Gauntlet but we’ll find out soon enough. Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame will open on April 26, and it’ll presumably star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Renner Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tessa Thompson, Evangeline Lilly, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum, Katherine Langford, Stellan Skarsgard, Ava Russo and Brie Larson.
Here’s the new synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:
“Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.
Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”
