Avengers: Endgame Theory – It Isn’t Nebula’s Hand That is Touching Tony

Avengers: Endgame Theory –

Avengers: Endgame is in the last stage of its Post Production and there’s a lot more coming our way than we can even imagine. The film packs so much in it, and yet we don’t even get 5% of it in the marketing material. So, that, in particular, is a good thing. 2018’s Mission: Impossible Fallout gave away the entire movie through its trailers, and Avengers: Endgame is saving the best for us to enjoy in the theatres. There are so many theories that are running all over the internet, and still, more keep coming.

Avengers: Endgame Theory Nebula Tony

Let’s get back to the first trailer. It started with Tony recording a message for Pepper since he clearly thought that it was about to die. We all presumed that Nebula was with Tony, but the trailer only gave a faint hint of that, and tried to mislead us until the time the Super Bowl TV Spot came out. That confirmed that Nebula and Tony are together on the Benatar. But despite that, we have a new theory coming from Reddit User jackmico343 that suggests otherwise.

Avengers: Endgame Theory Nebula Tony

According to the theory posted on Reddit, the blue hand that we see touching the person that looks to be Tony isn’t of Nebula. The Redditor talks about the possibility of this hand being blue just to mislead us. The argument is based upon the Black nails of this character and the triangular sleeve. According to this analogy, the individual that the Reddit user points here is actually Hela.

Well, I’m glad to report that the Redditor got way too deep into his thoughts and missed the obvious points in the image. Logically, Nebula should be wearing the same outfit on the ship that she wore in Infinity War. In Infinity War, she wore long sleeves which were not triangular but go around the hand leaving areas vacant for the fingers to move freely. So, what we see in this image is Nebula’s hand touching Tony, and there’s no one else in this image. Moreover, Nebula actually has black nails as well. Here’s the proof:

So, the theory debunks itself. But we can take something from it as Hela may actually be in the film. Ragnarok may not have ended just like that, and the Hela may still return in Avengers: Endgame through a certain twist that we don’t know yet. Perhaps she could be an ally to Thanos, or she could actually be shown when Thor visits Hel.

There’s a lot that is still a mystery about Endgame, and people are still trying to predict what all of that could be. Hopefully, we don’t just see Hela, but other villains as well. We know that the Red Skull has a chance to return. So here we have 2 iconic villains probably returning. Too bad that there’s no iconic Iron Man villain that could return as well.

Here’s the official synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:

“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
