Hela made her way into the MCU with Thor: Ragnarok and we know since then that her role in the movie wasn’t enough and she would definitely make it to Avengers: Endgame. In that movie, we all simply loved the character of Hela and also the way it has been played by Cate Blanchett.
But, at the end of the film, we saw that Hela died, after which there were a lot of theories on the internet signaling her return from a lot of different aspects. Also, the actress Cate Blanchett herself has suggested that she could make her return in the MCU which will bring sweat on the faces of Marvel Superheroes.
So, there has been a long and never-ending debate about her death and the key to her return, we believe, is in the hands of one man and that is Thanos. In the comics, we all know that all the destruction which Thanos has done was done with the sole purpose of impressing Lady Death. But, we haven’t seen Lady Death yet in the MCU and there are no signs of her incoming in recent years.
But, the introduction of Hela who calls herself the Goddess of Death could be the substitute of Lady Death in the MCU. Also, bringing Thanos and Lady Death on the big screen will do justice to the story we all have heard or read in the comics and when we already have Hela in the MCU then I don’t think Marvel has to think anymore.
Recently, a video by CBR is getting a lot of positive reviews because the video is talking about the possibility of having Hela alongside Thanos in the movie Avengers: Endgame. The video is down below. Watch it closely as the content of the video will surely impress you.
Well, right now we don’t have any official announcement about the return of Hela despite all the fans pleading for it as they want to see her alongside Thanos, bringing that storyline from the comics on the giant screen. But, we have to admit that if Hela is going to return then it’s going to be a really tough battle for the superheroes as we all know that Thor had to sacrifice his beloved Asgard in order to kill Hela.
Well, the other aspect is that Marvel Studios will surely don’t say goodbye to a star like Blanchett because we all know that she is one of the most talented actresses of all-time and the best part is that she is also happy in portraying the character of Hela. She had earlier said,
“Well — she’s the Goddess of Death, but what I liked about playing her was that I really didn’t know anything about her. Obviously, the deep, hardcore fan base knows a lot. [But for me] there was a really interesting process of discovery. Like with any of the of the Marvel characters, they have really interesting and varied backstories. She’s been banished for a very long time and if you were locked under the Asgardian stairs for 5,000 years, you’d be a little bit cross. It’s interesting to bring the concept of Death into a world that’s ostensibly immortal. There’s a side of Death, which can be gentle and kind, and there’s a side of Death, which can be brutal and savage depending on whose death it is. [She has] a lot of unresolved issues with Asgard [and] the more havoc she wreaks the stronger she becomes.”
There are a lot of predictions already on the internet about the return of Hela because we all know that it is final battle between Thanos and superheroes and superheroes are going to win this time but we also know that the cost of that win is going to be really huge and a lot of sacrifices will be demanded by the battle we are going to see in the movie Avengers: Endgame.
