Thanos Vs Hela: Here’s Why Even The Goddess of Death Can’t Defeat The Mad Titan
This is a battle that cannot take place on the big screen since Hela is dead, and Thanos has just one movie left which will not deal with this, but if we were to imagine that who among the two will be the ultimate winner in a catastrophic battle against these two, then the answer would be quite tricky. Thanos Vs Hela At one side we have the Goddess of Death and on the other side, we have the formidable big bad of the Marvel Universe!
So here’s an analysis of the powers of these two individuals in order to determine who among the two is going to be victorious in a brawl.
The Mad Titan
Thanos is notably the biggest villain the Avengers have ever had to face. He is the ultimate big bad of the entire Marvel universe and is famous for conquering entire universes in the multiverse. He just becomes unbeatable with the number of powers he has which are the Superhuman strength, durability, endurance, and intelligence, Energy manipulation, Telepathy, Telekinesis, teleportation, and Longevity.
Along with this, Thanos gets hold of the Infinity Gauntlet which contains the 6 infinity stones that could wipe out the entire universe with just one blow.
He is known as the Mad Titan by the galactic community and the Dark Lord by his most loyal underlings. He is a very powerful cosmic warlord that rules over a very distant region in outer space. Along with all the powers mentioned above, he commands two massive armies known as the Chitauri and the Outriders. Along with his armies, his loyal generals who are also his children in the MCU are a part of his very evil Black Order.
The members of The Black Order include Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian and Corvus Glaive. He is also the father of Nebula and Gamora, and with the use of the Infinity Stones, he can control all of these individuals together and with the powers of this unified team combined, he could take out any being in the entire multiverse.
The Goddess of Death
Hela is the Asgardian Goddess of Death based on the Norse Mythology, as her character is an inspiration from the Norse Goddess Hel. As we know that she showed up in Thor: Ragnarok and her origin was altered here as in the comics she is the Daughter of Loki, but in the MCU as we know, Hela is Odin’s first born and the elder sister of both Thor and Loki.
She is immensely powerful and can take on both Thor and Loki at once. The God of Thunder and the God of Mischief are no match her as she possesses attributes common to Asgardian gods but along with that, she has vast mystical powers which she can use for various effects like limitless astral projection, firing deadly bolts of energy from her hands, levitation, throwing an infinite number of blades from within her hands and the creation of illusions.
Along with all these abilities, she possesses the normal superhuman combination of strength, speed, stamina, agility, and durability. Being a Goddess she has a pact with Death which allows her to claim the souls of her victims. Her strength increases when she dons her cloak, and she almost becomes as strong as Odin with the Odin force.
Now let’s come down to the epic battle:
This is a battle worth happening in the MCU as both these individuals are neither short of immense power, nor are they short of attitude. Hela is the most powerful female villain we have ever seen on the big screen and Thanos is obviously the most powerful male villain, so this fight is totally fair and called for.
Even with the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos cannot straight up take down the Goddess of Death. She held and broke Mjolnir like it was nothing but a piece of cake, so just imagine how immensely strong she is. She can not only hold back the power of the Infinity Gauntlet for a long-long time, but she also possesses the souls of everyone she has killed.
If Thanos and Hela go for an all-out war, it is going to be a very tough battle that will involve a whole lot of death. Thanos will have to engage all his children and his armies of the Chitauri and the Outriders against the army of the dead that Hela brings. Her being the Goddess of death will allow her to turn every individual from Thanos’ side against him once she kills them.
So in the end, Hela could really get upon Thanos, but we have to admit that no matter how strong a person is, he is no match for all the six Infinity Stones together, So Thanos will turn out to be the ultimate winner eventually!
