Infinity War Directors Explain Physical Damage Caused to Thanos by The Gauntlet

We all know that there are a lot of things which happened in the movie Avengers: Infinity War and the biggest thing to have left an impact in the movie was the Thanos’ Snap right at the end of the movie through which we saw a lot of superheroes and people fading away in the dust. But, the snap also damaged Thanos as it was Infinity Gauntlet which asked a lot from Thanos according to the directors of the movie, Russo Brothers.

We have to admit that the most epic scene of the movie was Thanos snapping his fingers and the way all superheroes and people start fading away like dust was simply incredible to watch on the big screen but it only became possible after Thanos got his hands on soul stone.

He got it by offering the soul of Gamora in exchange for the prize of his ultimate sacrifice, which was soul stone. The man was emotionally broken in the movie after that sequence but according to the directors of the movie, Russo Brothers, not just emotional pain, Thanos also faced a lot of physical damage after that snap.

The directors revealed during a conversation with Collider the price that ‘Snap’ and Infinity Gauntlet asked from Thanos and no matter fans accept this fact or not but there were some serious damages to the body of Thanos. Russo brothers said,

It’s evident. His daughter is an emotional price, but the physical price is – you’ll see it if you pause your DVD – right before he uses it to go back into the portal away from Thor while he’s got the ax in his chest, his arm is burnt to a crisp. So the physical price is the extreme power that it took to enact his plan, he paid for physically, and when he sits down on the steps at the end of the movie you can see that it actually carries up into his neck and onto his face. [Thanos’] arm is f**cked up and anything attached to his arm is f**cked up.

Also, we all know that Thanos is going to face a lot of superheroes in the movie Avengers 4 in which we are going to see Captain Marvel helping the superheroes in their fight against Mad-Titan. Also, a lot of characters are going to return and in order to be prepared to beat all of them, Thanos should start doing some serious homework and preparations before their incoming because this time, it won’t be easy to defeat them.

There are a lot of people out there who still think that the use of snap in the movie was one of the greatest decisions of Marvel Studios and they’re really happy with its introduction. So, with Avengers 4 coming up next year and Captain Marvel coming before it and setting up the stage for Avengers 4, the buzz is really huge and we have to say that Marvel Studios has the most important time of their lives coming up.

Despite all this hype, we still don’t know the title of the movie and it seems like the title of the movie is going to be revealed after the release of the trailer. Also, the co-director of the movie, Joe Russo revealed to ComicBook.com the reason why they’re delaying the title revelation. He said,

“I don’t think there are any comics that correlate to it, I think we’re in a pretty fresh territory with Avengers 4. If anything, I think it’s interesting after to go back and look at some of the Marvel films and view them through a different lens. But I can’t think of any comics, in particular, that would have value.”
