Avengers: Endgame – 10 Biggest Reveals From The Trailer

The Avengers: Endgame trailer arrived yesterday and it revealed much more than you would actually want to believe. This was the darkest Marvel trailer till date, and we love it for the uniqueness of it. Those who thought that the trailer will give a look at the plot of the film were totally wrong, but it gave us major hints upon how things may go in the film. So without waiting any longer, here’s everything that was revealed in the trailer:

 1. Tony the Space Man

Avengers: Endgame

Before the trailer, reports suggested that the film may open with a time jump and we may not even see how Tony got back to Earth from Titan. But now it seems that this won’t be the case. Tony has been adrift in space probably along with Nebula, and their ship seems to have run out of juice.

Avengers: Endgame

He has been on the ship for 4 or more days, and he is running out of resources with very slim hopes of Rescue. When we see Tony, his oxygen is about to run out in the next 24 hours and his suit has been completely destroyed after the battle on Titan. So he records a message for Pepper R2D2 Style in whatever’s left of his suit.

Avengers: Endgame

We don’t know how Tony will be brought back to Earth but it is confirmed that he will be saved by someone. Perhaps he could be picked up by Captain Marvel while she returns to Earth, or Thor could get him back through the Bifrost or Pepper could somehow rescue him in the Rescue Armor. But one thing for sure is that he has lost all hopes of survival and accepts his death.

 2. The aftermath of the Decimation

Avengers: Endgame

The trailer focuses upon telling us what Thanos really did to the entire Universe. He said that he’d kill off 50% of all living beings, and he did exactly that. The worst part of it is that people around the Universe don’t even know what happened.

Avengers: Endgame

They don’t know that Thanos was the one responsible for it. As far as we know, they could actually hold the Avengers responsible for this. So the plot of the film becomes even complex thinking that the world is sad, and they actually might hold the heroes responsible.

 3. Farmer Thanos on Titan 2

Avengers: Endgame

The Russos recently revealed that on the set, they referred to Thanos’ planet as Titan 2. It is not exactly Titan, but rather it is what Titan used to be. And now we get to see Thanos’ armor as a scarecrow just like in the comics. Next up we get a glimpse at Farmer Thanos who still has his damaged Gauntlet. What brings him back into the mix will remain to be a mystery until the second trailer.

 4. Ronin

Avengers: Endgame

For more than a year, people have been calling out Clint Barton’s new alter ego Ronin. Theories suggested that he would be in Japan hunting down the Yakuza and those theories have been approved. This version of Ronin’s story arc will be different from the comics, but the suit that he wears is the closest to the comics.

Avengers: Endgame

It turns out that he is on a much darker path now after his entire family probably became the victims of the Decimation event. Hawkeye surely would have killed people before, but not like this. He is killing people ruthlessly out in the open.

 5. The heroes mourn the deaths they witnessed

Avengers: Endgame

This trailer majorly focuses upon the original 6 Avengers while Nebula and Scott Lang get 2 scenes, and Peter Parker also gets a reference along with Shuri. Tony, as mentioned above, is adrift in space after losing the battle on Titan. Steve sheds a tear and has shaved his glorious beard. Natasha clearly is destroyed by what Thanos did.

Avengers: Endgame

Thor is angry at not being able to stop Thanos not once, but twice. He had already killed half the Asgardians on the Grandmaster’s ship and after the Decimation, half of the people that survived also got disintegrated. So Thor is only left with 25% Asgardians. Hawkeye/Ronin has surely lost his family and that has resulted in him going “rogue.” Banner also looks saddened looking at the people missing after the snap.

 6. Shuri’s fate

Avengers: Endgame

While most people thought that Shuri would be alive even though she went MIA in the previous film, it seems that Avengers: Endgame keeps things the same with her. Angela Basset earlier confirmed that both Queen Romanda and Shuri survived the snap, but now we don’t know what the reality is. It could be possible that she did survive and is in hiding for now, but who knows. The other people shown missing here are Scott Lang and Peter Parker.

Avengers: Endgame

Lang is stuck in the Quantum Realm and the Avengers could not have known that, and Spider-Man left Earth along with Tony and Stephen Strange but no one necessarily saw him leave.

 7. Captain America wears the Winter Soldier Stealth Suit

Avengers: Endgame

The final few moments of the trailer showed us Captain America in his Winter Soldier suit as he was on Quinjet with Natasha. The two get ready for “the fight of their life” and seem to have formulated a plan ready for changing things for the better.

Avengers: Endgame

We don’t know when this scene would take place in the film, but it does make us seem that the Avengers are livid with what Thanos did and are willing to go to great lengths to change that. Also, Peggy gets a shout out in the trailer.

 8. Avengers: Endgame Title Reveal

Avengers: Endgame

While we guessed this title right after we saw Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel took their fair share of time to finally reveal it. They kept denying the title and at the end, everything they said and did only linked to Endgame itself.

Avengers: Endgame

Now this title has a much bigger significance then what we may think. It doesn’t just refer to the Endgame that Doctor Strange mentioned right before he got disintegrated. Sure the Avengers are in the endgame now, but this title also refers to the end of the MCU as we know it. Marvel will turn to a new leaf after this and this will be the end of everything that they have built.

 9. Ant-Man returns; hints at Time Travel and Time Jump

Avengers: Endgame

Last we saw Lang, he was stuck in the Quantum Realm and the entire Pym family became victims of the Decimation. So with Lang being stuck in the Quantum Realm, no one really knew where he went. But right at the end of the trailer, we see him show up as the new beacon of hope. Scott shows up at the front door of the Avengers facility trying to make Captain America or probably anyone who’s listening that he really was the Giant Man. Seeing this Steve and Nat just can’t believe and Steve straight up asks Nat that was that an old message or is Scott really at their doorstep?

Avengers: Endgame

In this scene, not only has Scott escaped from the Quantum Realm, he has shown up at the Avengers facility days later than anyone could have imagined. This has confirmed the theories of Time Travel and the Time Jump. Scott having escaped from the Quantum Realm and showing up later in the timeline out of a sudden also gives us a major hint that he travelled through time from the Quantum Realm. And since he returns in a not so distant future, this certainly does confirm a small time jump as well.

 10. The trailer hints the return of all the Disintegrated characters

Avengers: Endgame

Now, this is a very cheeky and tricky hint to decipher. First off, Marvel puts the disintegration right in our faces as their logo gets dusted at the beginning of the trailer.

Avengers: Endgame

But later we see the ashes and the dust particles reform into the new logo of the Avengers right before we get the title reveal. So this could be a major hint to how we will see the dead people return to life. They could be back in the same way they died, as the dust particles reform into half the people of the entire Universe.

Bonus – Just like Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame also comes out in April (probably the 26th)
