With the Avengers: Infinity War Art Book having hit the market, we have got so many alternate concept arts for the film that you might wish for these alternate designs instead of what we got in the final cut.
This Infinity War Art Book has so much material for almost every important figure in the biggest film of 2018. It is amazing to see how the creatives and the designers behind the film played around with so many alternate looks for our favourite heroes before going for the best of all.
The Corvus Glaive Killer
Compared to what we got as the final product, this look for Cap could have worked extremely well! He looks even more bad-ass than he did in the film.
The alternate Nomad
This ones clearly an alternative, but we have to admit that the first one is much better. No need to totally ditch the Uniform.
No one cares about this one
There’s not a lot to decipher here and certainly not a lot to write. You get it with the whole package so move please move forward.
Probably the best
This suit actually works pretty well with the beard and it even takes Cap totally away from the Captain America persona! We dig this suit, but we are happy that the creatives chose what they chose.
The No-Beard Nomad
Cap didn’t have a whole lot to do in the film as compared to Iron Man and Thor, but one thing that people were really excited to see the new, darker persona of a battle ridden Steve with the beard and everything. So this one gets a pass!
The Nomad you may have wanted!
Before Infinity War came out, it was revealed that Cap will leave his mantle and will become a Man without a country. We wouldn’t explicitly call him Nomad, and he will certainly not get the comic accurate suit, but we will get the reference. The Nomad suit is black, and this is here is the perfect alternative for that! The full black suit might actually work better in an alternate Universe (where Cap Hails Hydra!).
Just an upgrade
Can’t really decide whether adding little red works for the better or worse.
The Rugged Steve
While this looks awesome, it is great that glad that Marvel still kept his old costume. He had the uniform which became pretty rugged after the battles that Cap had been a part of in the last 2 years. The Star was obviously removed for a reason, but we ultimately might not have liked if Cap would have ditched the costume completely because that is what still keeps him attached to his past, and we don’t want to see him go too far away from it.
The Wakandan Shields
The Shield gauntlets that Cap got in the film were likable, but here’s something other than what we got for you to choose. Does it come in Gold? Yes, it does:
Here’s one more:
You’ve got to decide which look and Shield you loved the most among the bunch shown above. Tell us your opinion in the comments.
But it is great that Cap will be back to his original self, and this time he will be getting the best Suit for his final outing in the MCU. We all hope that Cap gets the best farewell when it comes to the plot of the film. We do not want him to die, but that is how it may work in the end.
His death may be very important story-wise as he is the one who is supposed to make the biggest sacrifice for the greater good of the MCU. Let’s see what happens when Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, 2019.
Here’s the official Synopsis:
“A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.”
