Spider-Man: Far From Home – Here’s How Red & Black Suit Might Come in

Spider-Man: Far From Home has wrapped up production and we as an audience feel great about this film because we now know quite a lot about it, courtesy of all the set photos and videos that made their way to the internet. Those set reveals have been an amazing marketing tool for Marvel and what’s great is that they haven’t really revealed a big spoiler about the film. There have been minor spoiler leaks like Spidey wearing a Red & Black suit, but nothing major that tells us about the plot of the film.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

We saw the film begin its shooting in Tom Holland’s home city London, where the first set photos of Holland hit the net. Then the shoot went on to Venice and Prague, and quite a lot of reveals were teased from those locations. We got a hint of Hydro-Man being involved. Set photos revealed the involvement of Happy Hogan, Nick Fury, and Maria Hill. The giant wheel sequence in Prague gave us the first look at Spider-Man: Noir inspired stealth suit and it also revealed Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio.

Now when the shoot moved back to New York at the beginning of October we got even more set reveals as we got our very first look at the new suit Spidey will be wearing in the film. Peter will switch from the Homecoming Stark suit to the new Black Stealth suit, and then he will finally don the new Red-Black Spider suit based on a rejected concept art of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

As per the plot of the movie goes, We know that Peter Parker will be going on a vacation to Europe along with his friends from school, hence the title Spider-Man: Far From Home. Most of the film will take place in Europe as the film has shot in European countries for 3 months. The little part that takes place in New York will be in the beginning of the movie, and at the end of the movie when Pete goes back to New York.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Since the shoot moved to NY at the beginning of this month itself, it is obvious that the story which will be portrayed at the beginning of the film will have been shot this month itself. But the recent shots of Spider-Man in his new Red and Black suit cannot be at the beginning of the film. We have seen Tom Holland wearing his Homecoming suit in Europe, so the suit transition will bring the Red and Black suit at the end of the movie.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

It has also been rumored that apart from the three suits which have been talked about above, there is going to be another suit which has not been disclosed yet. We don’t really know whether the rumour is true or not, but perhaps the first trailer of the film or the movie itself will make things clearer. As for the Red and Black suit, it will obviously come in towards the very end of the film. It will probably be the suit that Peter Parker builds on his own. Moving past the Stark suit and the SHIELD stealth suits, this final suit is inspired by Steve Ditko’s design be home-made by Spidey.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Peter Parker himself is one of the bright minds of the MCU, and this will probably be the first time we will see him use that ahead of all others. There is so much content stuffed in this film. A lot seems to be happening. So many suits, so many villains. Spidey will be fighting different villains in different countries supposedly, but the big bad of the film is obviously going to be Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be a refreshing film after the insane events of Avengers 4. Here’s what Kevin Feige had to say:

“Much like Ant-Man, there are things that people know about that movie, which is a great deal of the movie: the villain of the movie, the storyline of the film, that we’re shooting in Europe and that Peter Parker goes on continuing that [Captain America: Civil War] was a big giant super hero class movie. The fall out of that in Homecoming was John Hughes and him going to his high school. So that’s what’s fun to us about the Spider-Man movies. And again going from Infinity War to Ant-Man and the Wasp, the tonal shift. So, there’s a lot of fun stuff. How it connects, where it connects, when it takes place, very similar to Ant-Man and the Wasp in that we’re not gonna say right now.”
