Star Wars Sequel

The Heroes will soon be seen in a planet that is similar to the thick Amazon rainforests with greenery all around and dangerous creatures at every corner. The photos were featured in Makingstarwars.net. Here are the official pictures as released under license by Lucas Films.

The canopy is thick enough for the diehard Star Wars fans to have some educated guesses as to which planet the heroes of the Galaxy will find themselves next in the last movie of the trilogy. One guess could be the Forest Moon of Endor, first featured in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. That movie was filmed mostly in Northern California within a cover of thick redwoods.

The photos shown in the above pictures are actually from Black Park. The park is located near Pinewood Studios in England and features trees of lesser heights than the ones shown in Endor. If you ask us, the scene could be the heroes taking a trip through Yavin 4 from Star Wars: A New Hope or even Takodana from the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

There have been other leaks from the sets of Star Wars. The photos show the Millennium Falcon on an unknown planet. What are our heroes doing there? One possible explanation for the whole situation is that after the remaining handful of resistance fighters escaped from the planet of Crait in the Falcon, they landed over Yavin 4 or Takodana, where there are known places and hideouts for the resistance fighters. For now, the resistance needs to retreat and regroup and that is what is going to happen in the next movie according to the photos leaked all over the internet.

When asked about the current status and strength of the Resistance in the Star Wars Universe, Lead actor Oscar Isaac who plays Poe Dameron in the movie, had this to say:

“(They) are guerrilla fighters, adhering closer to something like the Revolutionary War fighters or even the guerrillas in Cuba with Che and Fidel and all these guys living in the mountains, coming down to do some attacks, and going back and trying to hide from the ’empire’ of the United States. It’s that kind of ragged at this point,” Isaac told in an interview with USA Today.

Another set of leaked photos from a different set showed Poe and the other merry band of resistance fighters on a planet with a rough, dry and rocky terrain. Rey is nowhere to be seen. So it looks like Rey and the Poe Company will soon be parting ways.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi has already witnessed its Digital/ Blu-Ray release.  The official synopsis of the movie reads:

Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren and General Hux lead the First Order in an all-out assault against Leia and the Resistance for supremacy of the galaxy.

The latest movie to be released under the Star Wars banner was Solo: A Star Wars Story. The official synopsis for the movie reads:

Young Han Solo finds adventure when he joins a gang of galactic smugglers, including a 196-year-old Wookie named Chewbacca. Indebted to the gangster Dryden Vos, the crew devises a daring plan to travel to the mining planet Kessel to steal a batch of valuable coaxium. In need of a fast ship, Solo meets Lando Calrissian, the suave owner of the perfect vessel for the dangerous mission — the Millennium Falcon.
