DreamWorks Animation has made an announcement regarding the release date of ‘How to Train Your Dragon 3’ and the change in release date is going to make you smile and will surely make you happy for all day long if not till the release of the movie. Fans are waiting for the release of the movie immensely as they want to see what the new movie has in store for them. The fans are extremely excited also because this will be the last movie of this beautiful and popular animated movie franchise.
As we all know, the previously scheduled date for the release of the film was March 1, 2019, but now the movie is going to release on February 22, 2019. The reason for this earlier release couldn’t be a casual one but the reason of this change is still a secret for many people. But for the moment, fans are the ones who are absolutely thrilled as they were waiting so insanely for this movie and seeing it coming a little bit earlier means a lot for them.
But according to the sources, the change in release date is because of the reason that there are a lot of big films releasing on March 1, 2019, and despite not having any doubt on their brilliance, the studio doesn’t want to sacrifice their profit by sharing the screens and viewers with other films. Thus, without thinking about the world and what people might think about them, the studio made a wise decision by shifting the date to a slighter early date and did not run into an unnecessary challenge.
There are many films which are going to release on March 1 such as Fighting with my Family, Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral, Chaos Walking, and The Kid who would be King are the movies which are releasing on the same day. Looking at all these great movies, everyone would call DreamWorks’ decision of shifting the date a wise and clever one.
‘Fighting with my Family’ is the movie which would’ve surely damage the profit scale of How to Train your Dragon 3 because the movie stars Dwayne Rock Johnson in the lead and is a comedy film based on the 2012 Documentary, The Wrestlers: Fighting with my Family, directed by Max Fisher, telling the story of WWE Professional Wrestler Paige. A lot of hype this movie is gaining at the moment because it seems to be such an intriguing story. The Bevis family, who all are professional wrestlers, trying to work through the issues that arise when sister and brother duo, Saraya and Zak audition for the roles in WWE.
So, the decision seems a beneficial one as the only movie they’re going to face on this new date is “The Rhythm Section”, which isn’t a big movie to rival with. Also, the director Dean DeBlois thinks that they’ve presented the movie in its best and satisfying way. The director explains,
“You will understand why the Hiccup says, as you heard in the trailer, ‘there were Dragons when I was a boy.’ And by the end of this film, you’ll have answered the question of what could’ve happened to them.”
The movie as we all know is going to be centered on the story of Hiccup, who has become the Chief of Berk and has fulfilled his dream of creating a peaceful dragon utopia, while the sudden discovery of a wild, elusive mate lures Toothless away.
When danger threatens their village and tests Hiccup’s reign as the Chief, Hiccup and Toothless are forced to leave the only home they know. As they travel to a hidden world thought to only exist in myth, both dragon and rider will fight together to the very end to protect everything they love.
