The Marvel Cinematic Universe is the biggest thing in Hollywood now and the biggest credit for that should go to Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Stan the Man is the one who created this magical Universe in the comics along with Jack Kirby and now the creatives are using that as Source Material to create something incredibly awesome on the Big Screen having Stan Lee making some amazing cameos in the Marvel movies.
Every MCU and even Non-MCU Marvel movie has one thing in common, which is the presence of Stan Lee in the most amazing way possible. Stan Lee has the record of appearing in the most number of Superhero movies that no one can ever break.
From being infected by Hulk’s blood to drinking to Thor’s Godly alcohol to playing a DJ at the Strip club, Lee has done it all! While most audiences may like him as the DJ at the Strip club, it is not actually a part of the MCU. There have been 20 MCU movies that have come out till now, and Uncle Stan has been in all of them.
With every new movie, people wonder that where is Stan Lee going to appear in here, and it turns out to be very surprising every time! There is absolutely nothing that this man cannot do in the movies as from being a watchman (Winter Soldier), he actually became the Watcher (Guardians Vol. 2)!
Since he is pretty old now, there might be a day when Stan Lee does not appear in any more comic book movies, but he will surely be part of them in the way that the Netflix shows and Deadpool 2 have shown, through posters, photos, paintings and Billboards. But he is there for the next 3 MCU movies, so let’s just enjoy those last few cameos in Captain Marvel, Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
He revealed that his favorite MCU cameo has been the one in Avengers: Age of Ultron where he played a drunk man with Thor. He said:
“Well, I think the cameo that’s my favorite is the one I did [with] Thor. I’m standing in a bar with him and he’s drinking this Asgardian drink, which is very powerful, and I ask for a sip and he says, ‘No, it would kill you,’ and I insist. And he gives me a sip and then in the next scene, they’re carrying me out.”
He continued to explain why he loves this one the most:
“Now you’re saying to yourself, ‘Why is this Stan’s favorite cameo?’ and you haven’t thought of the real reason. It’s the only one I did that has two scenes. So I’m hoping it does well. Next time, they’ll give me three scenes. You never know where it’ll end.”
His Cameos in 2018 were great but they sure weren’t the best. 2017’s cameos were actually much better with Thor: Ragnarok cameo actually being the best of all. Stan Lee appeared as the guys who actually cut down the hair of the mighty God of Thunder!
Now, a new theory has actually surfaced on the internet, being related to that particular cameo as a Reddit fan “akfromia” recently suggested that neither Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet, nor Thor’s new Hammer-Axe, the Stormbreaker is the most powerful weapon in the MCU, it may actually be what Stan Lee holds in Ragnarok, i.e. Thor’s hair clippers.
It actually sounds really funny and people might not take it seriously, but just think about it. We saw that Thor’s hair can be cut off as Stan Lee did that using his clipper, but the heat of the dying star at Nidavellir did not burn even one hair of his! That means that clipper must actually be even stronger than the star itself!
Now, that’s just nitpicking at its best. Hello, guys at Screen Junkies, you should have added this in you Honest Trailer for Avengers: Infinity War! Stan Lee will next appear in Captain Marvel, he may even show up in Venom… who knows?!?
Since Avengers 4 is going to be a massive movie which will supposedly beat every other MCU movie, we expect Stan Lee’s cameo to also be that huge! Let’s see what he does in the upcoming movies.
