Avengers 4 Fan Art Shows Happy Reunion of Cap With [Spoiler]

At the end of Infinity War, Cap was among superheroes who survived the big snap which was quite unexpected as fans were almost prepared to let go of him. The trailers featured him directly confronting Thanos which evoked memories of Marvel comic-book plot where he was made an example by the Mad Titan and his execution was swift and brutal.

But whether Cap lives or dies at the end of Avengers 4, we will be seeing him for one last time as Chris Evans’ contract is set to expire. Here’s what he said:

“Well, the contracts done. A lot of our contracts are through. Myself, [Robert] Downey, [Chris] Hemsworth, we all kind of started roughly at the same time. I mean, I think we all through Avengers 4 kind of wrap it up. But at this point I don’t know what’s next, but yeah by 2019 that’s it… Well, we’ll see.” “

He added:

“You want to get off the train before they push you off.”

It’s almost confirmed at this point that Cap is likely to die and pass on the mantle to either Bucky aka Winter Soldier or Sam Wilson aka Falcon. There is an official casting call for a bunch of mourners from all backgrounds gathered at a funeral to pay respects to a major Avenger. Well, only Steve Rogers could bring so many people at the last rites.

Recently, a huge MCU fan took to twitter and imagined a fictional account of Cap’s death. It said:

“WHAT IF STEVE DIES IN AVENGERS 4 AND THE POST CREDIT SCENE IS HIM WALKING INTO AN OLD EMPTY DANCE HALL (the one in the aou vision) AND YOU HEAR PEGGY’S VOICE SAYING “youre late…”

Avengers 4 Fan Art

Guess what, an artist who goes by the handle @Ultraraw26, illustrated Cap’s swan song in this beautiful, poignant piece of art. It shows that Cap fought valiantly against the enemy, his Shield is bloodied strapped to his back. He has seen enough of war, but all of it now is behind him as he is going to spend the rest of his days with the love of his life i.e Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter.

This would be an epic farewell to our beloved Steve Rogers who has dedicated his life to protect the lives of citizens from threats domestic and overseas. He has always led from the front, put his country first, then comes his team members and finally himself.

Before we let him go, let’s see him in action in the upcoming Avengers 4!

“I feel like with Avengers 4, because it was made before there was any response to Avengers 3, it’s really pure in that regard. The storytelling is very pure. It’s without any sort of external noise creeping in at,” Joe Russo told Deadline during SDCC 2018.

He added:

“We’ve been in post-production on [Avengers 4] since the release of Infinity War and we’ve got some additional photography that we’re doing in a month or so.”

“You know, we’re very proud of it. I think ultimately Avengers 4 may be our best work for Marvel. I think we’ve grown with every movie that we’ve made there. We’ve grown with the characters. We’ve grown with the cast. As filmmakers we’re very happy and very excited with the movie.”

Thanos' Snap

The ‘Infinity War’ ensemble cast is stunningly amazing as some of the biggest stars have been brought by Marvel including Josh Brolin (Thanos), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon), Vin Diesel (Groot), Jeremy Reiner (Hawkeye), Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Tom Holland (Spiderman), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch), Karen Gillian (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Dave Bautista (Drax), Paul Bettany (Vision).
