John Wick 3: Parabellum – Wick Rides a Horse in the New BTS Stunt

John Wick is the action franchise we all love. It is the need of the hour. Right from the first movie itself, the fans fell in love with this R-Rated action-heavy franchise. The first two movies have had a low budget production, with not much of CGI involved, doing things for real in the old way. The brutality in the action is commendable and the movie just pleases hardcore fans who wish to see some remarkable and violent hand to hand combat and gunfights.

The first movie was insanely thin on plot and the second one raised the bar in that area just a little bit. The action in the second one was obviously much more than the first one as a bigger budget was involved. The first one was great but the second one was obviously much better in every way. The same thing is expected from the third one. The theatrics and action should go on the next level, the bar for the plot has to be raised, the budget would obviously be more since the movie has added new cast members as well. All this should lead to higher earnings and profits for this movie since the fandom has increased significantly for this particular character.

The Director of the third movie Chad Stahelski said that more characters from the John Wick comic lore will come into play in the third installment of the movie:

“They’ve got a really good structure. It’s very tied to the film and it’s about the Continentals all over the world, how certain people come into that world, and what happens in relation to those people, which is cool. I think the world is very vast, and everything I’ve heard from it is very positive. It’s something that studio seems very, very intent on making and very, very behind… You can be with the consigliere, concierge, the sommelier, you can be with all these different characters and walk through the world in different aspects; ones that I’m a little limited by staying with my lead guy.”

Recently, Keanu Reeves revealed the title of the movie when he was asked whether John Wick 3 will follow the second one and be called Chapter 3 or, will it have an actual title. He said:

“It’s both! John Wick 3: Parabellum. It’s part of that famous sentence, ‘Si vis pacem, para bellum,’ which translates as, ‘If you want peace, prepare for war.'”

New set photos from the set of John Wick have hit the net giving us yet another look at the insane action sequences that are going to take place in the third and possibly the final movie of this franchise. These set photos show Wick riding a horse in the streets being chased by Motorcycles.

This chase sequence seems to be epic, raising the bar of the fight sequences in the final movie of the trilogy. Wick’s membership was revoked in the last movie, and this one will probably have assassins and contract killers from the entire world after him. So the amount of bloodshed should be at least 3 times more of what we saw in the second movie.

It seems that John Wick is going to have some support from Halle Berry’s character in the movie. She will be playing a character named Sofia, and Reeves gave us some important insight upon who she is. Here’s what he said:

“[John Wick] is fighting for his life and thinks that Halle Berry’s character has some information for him. They have a past, and they get involved with The High Table, this kind of overlording entity.”

John Wick 3: Parabellum Wick Rides a Horse

The movie hits the theatres on May 17, 2019 and here’s the official Synopsis of the film:

“John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.”
