This is a battle that needs to happen in a PS4 game. The next God of War brings in Thor to battle Kratos, and even though that battle would be worth watching, playing and breaking down, the battle against the Hulk is as interesting! So, let’s see that will the Hulk be able to perish the God of War, or will Kratos take down the Green Goliath.
Kratos is a Demigod within the Greek Mythology. He is the son of the mighty Zeus. He got the status of a God as he became the God of War, but his lust for more power made his father kill him. He was later resurrected from Hades himself, and now he seeks revenge from all the Olympian Gods that had a part in taking his life.
“Death is my calling. Vengeance my creed. I will wash away the past. With the blood of Olympus! CHAOS WILL RISE AGAIN!”
Being the God of War, Kratos is a fierce warrior and is well trained in hand to hand combat and with ancient weaponry. He is immensely powerful as he possesses Superhuman strength, Speed, Agility, and durability. Having his heritage with the Spartan race along with the Gods, The Rage of Sparta has always flown through his veins which grants him near invulnerability for a brief period of time.
He possesses a two-handed magical war axe known as the Leviathan. It is no ordinary Axe as the powers of frost and cold come along with it, enabling the God of War to freeze any opponent with it and just like Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, it can be recalled from any distance. Other than his Axe, Kratos possesses the Blade of Artemis, Blades of Athena and the Spear of Destiny.
Hulk is a force no one can control, not even he himself. When he is ‘Smashing’ no one stays standing. Hulk is probably the strongest Avenger (well according to Tony he is) and no one would want to cross paths against this giant green rage monster. Bruce Banner is a scientist with a genius level intellect and he became the Hulk when he was accidentally exposed to Gamma rays during the detonation of an experimental bomb as they were trying to recreate the Super Soldier Serum that turned Steve Rogers into Captain America. Instead what was created was this big Green Goliath.
When Banner transformers into the Hulk, he becomes extremely powerful and loses control being subjected to emotional stress, at or against his will, often leading to destructive rampages and conflicts that complicate Banner’s civilian life. His Strength is often proportionate to the level of anger he possesses at a time. Attacking the Hulk will make him angrier and hence even stronger, so that would be a foolish mistake to make for anyone. His powers include superhuman strength and durability. He can run really fast despite being so heavy and can jump higher than a building.
Hulk vs Kratos
Those who are familiar with the God of War game know it for a fact that it is Kratos who can literally smash the Green Goliath. Still, we have to do this so here it goes. The Hulk gets angrier with every attack made upon him, and we all know that the angrier he gets, the stronger he is. But this anger and strength is no match for the Rage of Sparta.
When Kratos unleashes this rage, his strength gets doubled and the Hulk will not be able to move a limb when this happens. We all saw how defenseless he got when Thanos started to reply with his own attacks. Kratos’ attacks would be as lethal and much faster than that when he unleashes this rage!
Kratos Vs HulkThen comes in the Leviathan. Not only can this axe repeatedly freezes and half the Hulk repeatedly, the axe is strong enough to cut Hulk into pieces. Hulk will have to play smart, and for that, he will have to bring in Professor Hulk which is when Bruce Banner’s genius brain is in control of the Hulk. That way Hulk won’t just engage with rage attacks upon an opponent he cannot beat. Professor Hulk is the only way the Hulk lasts long in this battle because Kratos would eventually take him down with the arsenal that he possesses.
