Justice League: Why The Flash Did Not Get To Wear A Second More Advanced Suit

Justice League was supposed to continue the new found success for the DCEU, but as it turned out, it was yet another mediocre failure even after being a step in the right direction. Zack Snyder was building up the franchise and had a definite vision for it, but we all know that he left the movie under supposedly difficult circumstances, and WB hired Joss Whedon to finish the leftover work.

With Whedon into the mix, WB took advantage of changing the Snyder vision which they actually did not approve of. Snyder is known to build up a darker and grittier Superhero world which divided the fans. Justice League was expected to have a lighter tone, but reports proved that it was actually more towards the darker tone similar to Batman V Superman. That is what Joss Whedon molded a little, gave the movie lighter and a funnier feel by adding “Quips”!

As it turned out, a lot of the material that Snyder shot met the floors of the editing room, and his vision was significantly altered by extensive reshoots. There were a lot of things that were rumored to be there in the Snyder version of Justice League popularly known as the Snyder cut. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see that version of the movie ever. Still, every now and then, Snyder keeps sharing new details about his version of the movie which the fans actually may have liked what they got.

The new update in the Snyder Reveals is the news about a second Flash suit that we might have got if Snyder was in charge till the very end. He keeps interacting and replying to his fans on the Vero app, and that is the source of all the new reveals about the Snyder version of Justice League. He has now come out and confirmed that a second suit for the Flash was in play as well, and he also mentioned the fact that the new suit would have included ‘Wayne Tech’. Here’s what he said when a Fan asked about the second Flash suit.

This was actually rumored way before Justice League came out, but since the movie was altered quite a lot from what it was originally intended to be we could not have expected to see that. We got to see changes in Cyborg, but the Flash was left for his solo movie. Zack Snyder also teased the fact that the second suit might not have showed up even if he would have been in charge. It was more of an idea than a reality. A fan asked about the concept art of the suit and he replied that it was intended to be an idea for the director of the Solo movie to make it in his/her own version.

The new Directors of the Flash solo movie are pretty excited to bring their version of the fastest man alive on to the big screen. Here’s what the two Directors of the movie, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein had to say about their spin of the project:

“Daley – Just the fact that the character is unique from other superheroes in that he doesn’t completely have his shit together like Superman does. It’s more of a ground-level superhero.

Goldstein – It’s a relatable way in to a superhero movie in some of the same ways that Peter Parker was for the Marvel side of things.”

Snyder had big plans for Justice League 2 as well. He had some deep and intricate plotting, which set up the story for the future movies, and the biggest example of that was the Knightmare sequence we saw in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Many fans actually did not understand what the whole significance of that scene was, and the scene where we saw the Flash coming back from the future was an even bigger mystery for us.

Justice League flash

It hinted a mixed plot of Injustice and Justice League: War that Snyder had intended for Justice League 2. Seeing the big Omega sign on the ground, we always knew that Darkseid was coming to Earth somewhere down the line. Coming of Steppenwolf was to establish the welcome of Darkseid itself. But now, Snyder would not return, and we may never get another Justice League movie ever because the name is tainted!
