Avengers: Infinity War was a mind-boggling adventure that stunned the world with Joy and awe. The movie was literally everything the world was waiting for. It had so many fan-pleasing moments and at the same time, it was a shocking thriller, and the ending of the movie just enhanced the level of thrill taking the film into a whole new league! It was the best movie this year and the fact that it has broken the $2 Billion mark at the worldwide Box office just proves the insanity of this movie!
The movie was full of moments that turned the theatre into a freakin’ stadium. For 10 years fans have invested themselves into these characters and now every punch they give, every line they deliver, every quip they make & every quip hit take turns into a loud synchronized reaction at the theatres. Marvel movies are not just movies anymore, they have turned into big festivals which now come thrice a year and will start to happen four times.
The Writers and Directors crafted this movie amazingly well to get a 2 Hours 30 Minutes cut. They put everything that was necessary and we can’t ask for anything more. The movie was not without a bit of flaw but we have chosen to ignore them and call it perfection. But human nature would always ask for more even after they are satisfied.
There were so many amazing scenes in the movie but the fight sequences, in particular, were a little fast and small when it comes to all the heroes, and since we love them all, we wanted to see more from everyone!
The Airport battle sequence is the best of MCU till now as we got to see the best of everyone, and that battle was bad-ass. Infinity War’s Battle of Wakanda was supposed to top that, but it turned out to be a little shorter than what we expected in order to fit the battle on Titan as well.
Hopefully, this gets fixed with Avengers 4 and our thirst is quenched, but the movie was not short of big epic moments. From Cap’s entrance to Tony’s new suit reveal to Doctor Strange’s battle against Thanos, To Tony’s heart-breaking stab, every scene brought out emotions out of everyone.
But the most epic sequence in the movie without a doubt was Thor’s entrance in Wakanda along with Rocket and Groot and the Screenwriters of the movie Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely agree to that as well.
Infinity War screenwriters recently appeared in a Q&A on Kevin Smith and Marc Bernardin’s most recent episode of ‘Fat-Man on Batman’ and there they revealed the most epic moment that was always going to be in the movie, noting:
“Because the whole thing is built off of that.”
The epic Entrance felt like everyone was sitting in a Colosseum where Gladiators fought and we all cheered. The Entrance was followed by the attack that Thor made upon the outriders which resulted in literal screaming from the audiences!
Both these writers have worked on 4 Marvel movies from the Captain America trilogy to the last 2 Avengers movies and they started with the epic moment of Rogers jumping upon a grenade in his training camp saying:
“McFeely – I think we were looking for the moment that he was tested and I think that, I wanna say [director] Joe Johnston may have said, ‘I saw something in another movie…’
Markus Clarified – Joe Johnson said, ‘There’s some old war movie where a guy jumps on a grenade and it doesn’t go off, but I don’t remember the name of it.’ So we stole it. But it worked great. We probably had a 15-minute montage in the first draft where Joe just went, ‘Couldn’t he just jump on a f-cking grenade?’ Well, yeah,”
They have also given us the script for Avengers 4 which the entire world is waiting to watch after the hype that has been built by Avengers: Infinity War. Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, 2019, and here’s the official Synopsis of the movie:
“A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.”
