Avengers 4: New Theory Claims Avengers Already Have Their Own Infinity Gauntlet!

What if we told you the Avengers do not need the Infinity Gauntlet? What if we told you there already does exist a weapon on Earth that could harness the power of all the six Infinity Stones?? What if we told you it was hiding in plain sight all along??? What if we told you that the weapon we are talking about has been in the MCU since 2015 and you have been watching it all along???? Sounds ridiculous, ain’t it!!! But as ludicrous as it sounds, it just might be true.

The weapon has not been starring in the MCU and it is powerful enough to possibly contain the might of the six Infinity Stones and we have the comic books and the Marvel animated universes to back up our claim!! Don’t believe us? Scroll down and look for yourselves.

The Marvel universe is filled with fantastical weapons of mass destruction. The Ultimate Nullifier, the Cosmic Cube, the Nega Bands, the Universal weapon and the likes. But none of their power comes even close to what the six Infinity Stones promise to their wielders.

Each Infinity Stone grants its wielder complete command over one aspect of the universe – Space, Time, Mind, Power, Reality and Soul. When all the Six Infinity Stones comes together, they form the Infinity Gauntlet, an object that makes its user a literal God. He can bend and rewrite the laws of reality and control the forces of creation at his will.

This is what Thanos wanted to achieve- Godhood. So that he can finally implement his master plan of wiping out half the universe and bringing ‘balance’ to it. To harness the Infinity Stones’ collective power, he had to take the help of Eitri of Nidavellir, who created the Infinity Gauntlet for the Mad Titan. But the Infinity Gauntlet is just one of the many ways the Infinity Stones could be used together. And we have just found out one other way the Stones could be used together and believe it or not, the Avengers already have access to it!!

We will give you another hint. What we are talking about is a superhero!! Any guesses???

With so many superheroes becoming a part of the Avengers since the MCU began in 2008 with Iron Man, it would be hard to identify exactly which superhero we could be talking about.

Is it Captain Marvel?

She probably is the strongest of all the Avengers and could hold the Gauntlet without killing herself. Maybe it is Captain America? He has held the Gauntlet in the comic before and his sense of justice and righteousness might just be enough for the First Avenger to command the power of all the six Infinity Stones.

Maybe it is Tony Stark?

He has sacrificed so much in these 10 years of the MCU. If it should be anyone who beats Thanos to the punch, it should be him. Wrong, Wrong and Wrong!!! None of those heroes are the one we are bringing to the table today. The particular hero we are talking about has been a somewhat recent addition to the MCU and is one of their most powerful members. Still, don’t know who he is???

It’s Vision!!!

Vision is the one we are talking about. Whether you want to believe it or not, Vision alone has the ability to harness the powers of all the six Infinity Stones simultaneously!! Wanna know how we dug up this theory? Let us take a dive into the Marvel Animated Universe, where the Infinity Stones and the Infinity Gauntlet had been introduced long before it came into the movies.

In the animated series Avengers Assemble, there exists another android superhero that goes by the name Arsenal. Arsenal was created by Howard Stark, Tony Stark’s father, to absorb and contain massive amounts of energy. In the episode “Thanos Triumphant”, Arsenal absorbs the powers of all the six Infinity Stones, literally becoming a walking, talking Infinity Gauntlet and an Android version of God.

What if Vision is being prepped to become the MCU version of Arsenal? Don’t think he is? Let us enlighten you. The Vision already has experience when it comes to handling the power of an infinity stone. Unlike the Time Stone being only a magical accessory to Doctor Strange, the Mind Stone was literally bonded to Vision. In fact, Vision was born out of it. If anyone has enough credentials to handle an Infinity Stone, it is the Android Avenger.

We know that no ordinary mortal can even touch a single Infinity Stone without being turned to dust, let alone use it. The Vision has been using the Mind Stone ever since he was born, and since he is a machine and was literally born out of an Infinity Stone, there is no one better suited to using the powers of all the Six Infinity Stones than this guy.

In addition to that, the role of Vision has been extremely trivial since Infinity War. Vision is one of the Avengers’ strongest members and the way his character was (mis)treated in the movie makes us want to believe that his story might not have ended just yet. Vision will be back and he will be back with a vengeance.

The last Avengers movie showed the Avengers trying to rip one Infinity Stone out of his head and the next Avengers movie will show the Avengers bond Vision with the six Infinity Stones. The Avengers do not need an Infinity Gauntlet to harness the powers of the Stones. They have Vision.

Paul Bettany, who plays the android Avenger called Vision in the Marvel Movies and also in the latest superhero flick under their banner – Avengers Infinity War, was extremely moved by his recent death in the Marvel Movie Universe.

While talking to GQ about the death of his characters in blockbuster Hollywood movies (Bettany plays a character which also died a horrible death in Solo: A Star Wars Story), he claims it was Vision’s death that moved him the most and had a great emotional impact on his being. He says and we quote:

“Ooooh, I don’t know. I think that being murdered by the love of your life [Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen] because you’re asking them to is pretty moving stuff that they wrote for us.”

The Vision died not once but twice in the movie. When Thanos’ henchmen aka the Black Order comes to Earth looking for the Mind Stone, they encounter the Scarlet Witch and grievously wound the Vision. Vision is then taken to Wakanda where Shuri aids in his repairs only to be interrupted by Thanos’ army air dropping onto the nation as a battle soon ensures.

Thanos later joins the fight and Vision asks Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch to rather kill him than let Thanos complete his Infinity Gauntlet. Wanda agrees and succeeds in Killing Vision by destroying the Mind Stone in his head. But Thanos uses the Time Stone to bring Vision back from the dead and literally rips the Mind Stone out of his head, killing the android superhero in the most painful way possible only seconds after his resurrection.

The Vision first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers: Age of Ultron released in 2015. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:

When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jump-starts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing him, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron, a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they encounter two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.

The latest movie to be released under the Marvel Studios banner is Avengers: Infinity War. The Official film synopsis for the movie reads:

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
