Avengers: Infinity War will be the greatest comic book extravaganza that the world has ever seen, never before has any studio attempted to make a superhero movie on this scale and magnitude. It is expected to adopt many comic book plots when it hits us. It will be really interesting to see how the Russos have brought this epic saga to life.
The Avengers are going to assemble every possible superhero including Guardians of the Galaxy to take down Mad Titan ‘Thanos’ and his deadly Black Order. Infinity War is going to hit the theaters within 46 days, and the fans have a lot of questions in their minds about how things will play out in the movie.
The Russos have already said that everything that has happened in the MCU till now, will come into play in this epic finale event. They are going to interweave stories of every other Marvel movie into Infinity War and Avengers 4. Well we know the different situations all the Avengers are currently in.
The Hulk is with Thor and the Asgardians on their ship. Black Panther is in Wakanda and Bucky Too. Black Widow is on covert missions in the Middle East along with Cap and Sam. Tony is building armors to save the world. Rhodey is recovering from his Spinal injury. Spider-Man is a regular school going, kid. Doctor Strange is with Wong at the New York Sanctum along with Wong. Ant-man is living with his daughter and is under house arrest. Hawkeye is retired and living with his family. Wanda and Vision are also living together, and the Guardians are out in the cosmos, and Nebula is away finding ways to take down her father.
So, Everyone has drifted apart away from each other, and all of them will be coming together in Infinity War to take down Thanos. Everyone is going to catch up on stuff that the others have been up to for a while. And this unification is going to bring back previous stories into the play, and form new ones as well. Most of all the lovebirds of the MCU will be together in this one.
Pepper is the heart of everything that Tony does, so they probably will take the next step in their relationship, which is getting Married. Cap will probably not be meeting up with Sharon Carter in this one. Thor, unfortunately, has ended things with Jane, but he has got a new love interest in the name of Valkyrie. Vision and Wanda as we know have been living together. But most importantly, this movie will unite the best couple of the MCU, which is Banner and Natasha.
Banner took the Quinjet at the end of Age of Ultron, and somehow his jet landed onto Planet Sakaar, so he has been in the Hulk form for 2 years. In the Avengers: Age of Ultron, Black Widow would sing “lullaby” to Hulk to calm him down and bring back the scientist Bruce Banner. Will she play the similar role in Avengers Infinity War? or Will there be more to their relationship this time?
Nat has not found a new love interest in the meantime, and when they meet up, things will probably continue like they were, and it will be interesting to see how the story of these two is handled in Infinity Wa and maybe in the future movies as well. Here’s what Mark Ruffalo had to say about the romantic flame that burns between Hulk and Widow, and how their relationship will be handled:
“In this film? They’re star-crossed lovers, so it’ll be something they’re dealing with for the rest of their living days I think, whether it’s requited or unrequited. I don’t imagine that’s going to go away any time soon in one iteration or another.”
Last year when Scarlett Johansson finished shooting Infinity War, she revealed something a little bit opposite from what Mark said recently. Here’s what she said:
“I just finished Avengers: Infinity War. The first one. My character has this ongoing relationship with Mark Ruffalo’s character. I had such devastation that day. I don’t know why. I was so devastated. It was something about this character that Mark plays, and this is something that should feel so solid and suddenly doesn’t. I don’t know, and it reminded me of so much of the things going on in my own life at the time. Just being able to bring all of that to work, and examine it and play with it, and then to have another actor to help you to understand it, it’s the best. I love it.”
So, it looks like there will be a continuation in their relationship, but Banner being away for so long will affect it in some way. Well, the fans want to see them back together and have a similar chemistry that they developed over the course of Age of Ultron. We will see if it goes anywhere given the complicated lives they lead, its hard to have feelings for a fellow superhero especially when you are facing the most terrifying adversary you have ever seen. It would be really interesting to see under what circumstances do they meet again.

Avengers: Infinity War is going to open on April 27, 2018. The movie is directed by Russo brothers and produced by Marvel boss Kevin Feige along with a set of executive producers including Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and chief architect of Marvel comics Stan Lee. The screenplay has been written by an amazing duo – Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
Will Thanos succeed in collecting all the Infinity gems? How can Team Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy fight let alone defeat the Mad Titan once he has all the six Infinity stones? Who will survive Thanos’ wrath and his ruthless quest to rule the entire cosmos? Who will die on the battlefield? What will happen to the Infinity stones after Avengers Infinity War and Avengers 4?
