Avengers: Infinity War is the biggest movie so far of the Marvel Universe. Thanos landed on Earth in search of his precious Infinity Stones. He was accompanied by his nefarious Black order. The Mad Titan commanded an army of the super alien soldiers, also known as Outriders. Together they intend to lay waste to anything and everything in their path to complete control over all creation. It was left to the heroes to make sure that Thanos does not get what he longs for. The Infinity Stones must be safeguarded at all costs.
The Avengers had their hands full on this one. But the Mad Titan was just too terrifying and menacing an adversary as he managed to overpower Avengers assemble and fulfilled his purpose i.e to bring balance to the universe. He got all six Infinity stones, assembled them in a gauntlet and snapped his fingers that wiped off half the life in the universe including superheroes.
But you know what they say – It’s not over until the fat lady sings. The remaining crew are not going to have a moment of rest as a new threat looms over the Horizon. Maybe it is just Thanos coming back to haunt them again. Maybe it is someone entirely else who has been tweaking the Avengers’ strings all along.
The Avengers: Infinity War may very well just be the beginning of something far too sinister at play behind the scenes. We won’t know until Avengers 4 hits the screens.
Shooting for Avengers 4 has been going on for quite a while now. See set photos of various heroes reveal something really interesting about the characters. The Avengers 4 set photos are eerily similar to previous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
Loki sporting a look similar to the one in Avengers, Black Widow’s Civil War look, Vision visiting the Hall of Armors from Iron Man 3 and a shitload of another stuff point a simple fact – the Avengers might be time-traveling back to the past.
But a recent theory has surfaced that professes otherwise. Recent Set photos reveal that Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Ant-man will be sharing screen space in the movie. While the set photos might be leading audiences to believe that the Avengers could have been visiting past events of the MCU, there are several anomalies in the pictures that helped us conclude that the story is quite different from what it seems.
Take, for example, Paul Rudd. Ant-Man was not present in the Avengers movie in 2012. So what the hell is he doing there along with his fellow Avengers? Then there is Tony Stark. In the original movie, he is wearing the Mark VII armor, his then latest technological accomplishment. But in the set photos he is seen wearing a standard SHIELD uniform.
In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos is most likely getting his hands on the entire set of Infinity Stones. So that means he will get total control over all facets of the cosmos and alter the very fabric of reality as he sees fit. So this is our theory we thus derive – Thanos gets hold of the Reality stone and changes the timeline.
Ant-Man is now a founding member of the Avengers like in the comics. Tony Stark, not Nick Fury, is the Director of Shield. And Pepper Potts is his wife in this reality.
This theory makes sense when you realize that it is widely believed that it is a dead Pepper Tony is holding in the trailer. This really happens after Thanos has killed most of the heroes and has changed the timeline as he saw fit.
There is another less plausible theory though. Scott Lang aka Ant-Man can use the Pym Particles to even punch through the Quantum Realm. This means he can use his suit to travel between different realities. Lang has a new suit in Avengers 4 that might have this new ability.
Evangeline Lily, who will play The Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp, says the movie will feature concepts of the multiversity. Ant-man and The Wasp will release in between Avengers 3 and Avengers 4.
Are the Avengers really time traveling or is it an alternate reality adventure. Is Thanos really going to create a What If.… scenario in the MCU? Is Scott Lang just there to convince the alternate reality heroes that it is not their future but something that is made up to help Thanos finish his quest for total conquest?? We will know for sure when Avengers 4 releases on May 3, 2019. Avengers Infinity War is playing successfully right now in theaters.
