There are a lot of superhero films that do well on cinema, but still, a lot of them receive really bad ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, here is a list of the 10 worst performing superhero films:
Supergirl (1984)
Wish your love the Supergirl character right now because of Melissa Benoist in the CW series but before this in 1984 there can a film Supergirl in which the production cost was about 35 million dollars and the film is the lowest scoring film on Rotten Tomatoes with the score of 7% the film had pathetic graphics really bad acting and there was a very Shallow storyline in the film.The film has a score of 7% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Captain America (1990)
When we say the word Captain America only Chris Evans face comes to the minds of the fans now notably the biggest Avenger Captain America was once a pathetic flop the film came out in 1990 and the film only earned a total sum of $10,000. Obviously, they were bad graphics, but not just that the cast too of the film was not at all famous.The film has a score of 8% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Catwoman
Before Haley Berry became famous by becoming Storm of the X-Men she was nothing but the Catwoman the character in which we see Anne Hathaway today, but the Catwoman character which was nothing but shit. The film had a very different story time than the original Catwoman so much so that that woman was not even called Selina Kyle in the film.The film has a score of 9% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Fantastic Four
If you thought the first Fantastic Four friends it was but will you have to see the film in the second one it is absolutely shit Jony storm has been made black but no that is not the problem that the character has been changed the problem is with everything from the script to the villain. To think that Doctor Doom would be just a boy, who wears rags…nope. The film has a score of 9% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Elektra
Elektra undoubtedly is a very famous character, and to have a film on her won’t be a bad idea right but the idea was executed and Elektra had her own film which was the spin-off of the Daredevil film that starred Ben Affleck the film was totally shit so much so that it got a score of 10% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Batman and Robin
If you think Batman vs Superman Dawn of justice was bad you need to watch 1997 Batman and Robin to which Rotten tomatoes gave a 10% rating. Undoubtedly George Clooney is a great actor and Bhumika is also an exceptional director but still, this film was so pathetic that it took Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan to come together to bring Batman to his former Glory.
Superman: Quest For Peace
Christopher Reeve undoubtedly had a successful career being Superman has he became the benchmark for every superhero of that time he also gave three good films amongst was the first was obviously the best but when he returned in his fourth film Superman IV the Quest for peace the film was absolutely city and got a score of 12% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Crow: City Of Angels
The Crow: City of Angels a film that almost no one has even heard about. But the film was okayish, what is surprising is that the first part of the film got a rating of 82% on Rotten Tomatoes only.
Steel
Steel is a film that came out in 1997 in the film came out just some days after respond came because of which Shaquille O’Neal who was the actor could have had been the first African American hero to star in major superhero film but the film got trashed both at critical and commercial levels and only got a rating of 12% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Spirit
The Spirit was a film that was made by Frank Miller, a person who is known for The Dark Knight Returns. The film’s cast was absolutely amazing as it had Scarlett Johansson Samuel L Jackson Sarah Paulson and many more people, but still just got 14% on Rotten Tomatoes.
