3) Emily Blunt – Gulliver’s Travels
Emily Blunt became famous with her appearance in The Devil Wears Prada. Everyone wanted her to be part of their films. Even Marvel Studios wanted her to appear in Iron Man 2. But, here comes the catch, she was bound by this contract according to which she had to work in another movie and the studio wanted her to do their remake of Gulliver’s Travels instead. Luckily, it didn’t do much damage to her career.
4) Whoopi Goldberg – Theodore Rex
Sister Act 2 brought a great deal of success for Whoopi Goldberg and when producers approached her to star in their movie Theodore Rex, she kind of had an oral contract. However, gradually she changed her mind and tried backing out from it. But the court case made things difficult for her and backing out wasn’t an option. She finally appeared in the movie.
