Rejuvenated Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja is the man in the Indian team who was the player of the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2013 which India won. He has been a match winner for India but in recent times he was not in form and was smashed greatly by the critics all around.

Jadeja won India the Champions Trophy in 2013 with a lot of breath taking performances there and then especially the final winning performance with both the bat and the ball. After that one more of Jadeja one has is the famous Lords test in 2014 which India won. Jadeja scored a match saving knock of 68 runs in the third innings of the match and due to which India set England a target of 319 runs which was then defended due to a brilliant bowling spell by Ishant Sharma.

After that Ravindra Jadeja was constantly failing at the international level and was smashed hard by the critics for it. He did not show a promising and great performance in the World Cup too and from there on Jadeja failed on the Bangladesh tour too and thus was dropped for the upcoming test tour of Sri Lanka and the ODI & T20 series against South Africa.

While Jadeja was dropped from the side he started to work on his game and played in the domestic circuit for a while to improve his game. Jadeja on the backing of a great Ranji season was called back for the test series against the Proteas. Jadeja got 38 wickets in four domestic matches and piled up three 50’s too. Rightfully called back, Jadeja made it count in the test against South Africa. SIR Ravindra Jadeja got Du Plessis out on the second ball he bowled on his comeback and got Philander out on the first ball he bowled in the second innings. You might think that is quite a phenomenal comeback but wait there is more to come. Jadeja got three wickets in the first innings and picked up a fifer in the second innings. And that is how Ravindra Jadeja’s comeback test ended with him being the player of the match.
