Gionee Marathon M4 Launched in India for Rs. 15,499

Gionee has always been doing wonders with its M series of smartphones when it comes to battery backup, and following the same path is its Marathon M4, with a battery backup of 5,000mAh. The company claims that the device can offer users a talktime of upto 50 hours and a standby time of over 440 hours! Gionee Marathon M4 was launched yesterday in India at a price tag of Rs. 15,499 and will be available in Black and White colours.

The Gionee Marathon M4 sports a 5-inch HD AMOLED display, with a 1280×720 resolution. The Marathon M4 runs on a Mediatek’s MT6582, Quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 and comes with 2GB of RAM. The Android 5.0 (Lollipop) smartphone can be expanded upto 32GB of storage, along with the 16GB of internal memory. Connectivity options that come along with this device includes dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support on both SIM cards, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB-OTG. The smartphone offer users a 8MP rear camera, along with a LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The phone’s performance is sourced by a 5,000 mAh battery.
