Chelsea v Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge. Wednesday, May 02, 2012. It was their home ground and naturally Chelsea were favourites to win this fixture. But Papiss Cisse and Newcastle United had other plans. The Senegalese striker put Newcastle in the lead with a beautifully controlled strike. Chelsea tried their best to equalize but they couldn’t break the Magpies’ defence. Cisse made it 2-0 and finished Chelsea off in the 94th minute with an absolutely stunning goal from the left flank giving Newcastle United their first victory at Chelsea in 26 years.
