There’s a new rumor swirling around that Marvel Studios has approached Adam Driver to star in their new Fantastic Four film. Although fan-favorite John Krasinski was recently seen as Earth-838’s Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, casting rumors have been swirling around the web for some time now. However, a new report by scooper Daniel Richtman has provided new information about the possibility of Driver taking on the role of Reed Richards, the founding member of the comic book team with the power of super-stretching abilities.
This new rumor reinforces previous speculation that the Marriage Story star was being considered for the role of Mr. Fantastic. While other names have been tossed around as potential leads for Fantastic Four, including Penn Badgley and Diego Luna from Andor, it seems like Driver is currently the front-runner. According to Richtman, he is in final talks with Marvel Studios for the role, which could mean that an official announcement could be forthcoming.
Marvel Studios has stated that they will be making a new Fantastic Four film, although nothing is known regarding the casting. However, rumors that Marvel Studios was getting ready to start the project’s casting process arose in February.
