New Iron Man Video Released by Marvel for Robert Downey Jr.’s Birthday
Robert Downey Jr., one of Marvel Studios’ first stars, was recently wished on social media. , a very happy birthday. The actor is best known for his ten appearances as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), where he played the character until Avengers: Endgame, where he was killed off. Even though Downey hasn’t been involved in any MCU projects since his character gave his life, his presence in the plot has remained a constant ever since. The Marvel social media accounts in the UK also posted a new Iron Man video with the caption: “We’re just landing in to say happy birthday to Robert Downey Jr. “.
Almost all of Downey’s Tony Stark performances, which served as the beginning and conclusion of the Infinity Saga, are featured in the video. It highlights the opening scenes of Iron Man 2 (2010), where Tony is seen launching into his speech at the Stark Expo in front of cheerleaders and an enthusiastic audience. The video also shows one of Tony’s darkest moments from 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, where he fires his repulsor blasters at Cap’s shield in Siberia after the famous airport battle in Germany.
Downey’s portrayal of Iron Man has become one of the most iconic matches between an actor and a role in the history of Hollywood, and it’s no surprise that Marvel is paying tribute to the leading man on his birthday. Since his departure from the MCU, fans have been speculating whether Downey would ever suit up as the original Avenger again. While Marvel Studios has gone back and forth with including the hero as an influence in recent movies, fans are hoping to see different Variants of Downey from other realities down the line.
