Has Ryan Reynolds Revealed the X-Men Lineup for Deadpool 3?

Hey guys, exciting news for all you Marvel fans out there! A new tweet from our very own Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds may have just spilled the beans on the X-Men lineup for Deadpool 3. According to a report by Deadline, both Stefan Kapicic’s Colossus and Morena Baccarin’s Vanessa will be making a return for the third installment of everyone’s favorite Merc with a Mouth. And of course, we’re all still waiting with bated breath to see if Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will also make an appearance.

It looks like Ryan Reynolds may have just let slip that the third film will also bring back the team that viewers thought was gone for good: X-Force. In his initial tweet, Reynolds shared an image of the X-Force team from Deadpool 2, along with the caption “X-Force will live forever!” However, he later edited the caption to read “X will live forever!”, leaving fans scratching their heads and wondering if he just let something slip.

While it’s not entirely clear what Reynolds’ cryptic message means, it’s hard to ignore the reference to the iconic X-Force team. And with rumors swirling that the Multiverse will play a key role in the third film, there’s plenty of room for shenanigans and surprises. Actor Lewis Tan did tease a possible return of the team last year, and fans have been speculating ever since. And given Deadpool’s strong connection to X-Force in the comics, it’s certainly not out of the question.

If Cable, played by Josh Brolin, returns to join Deadpool and Wolverine, it would be a dream come true for fans of the comics. And with the Multiverse in play, the possibilities are endless. Reynolds has proven time and time again that he’s not afraid to take creative liberties with the source material, and he could use the concept of X-Force to wipe the slate clean or start building the foundation for the team in the MCU.

In the lead-up to Deadpool 3, there hasn’t been much talk of X-Force, but there is still time for surprises and turns. Additionally, it’s possible that mutants will finally be the focus of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Only one thing is certain: we can’t wait to see what Reynolds and the Deadpool 3 team have in store for us. Put November 8, 2024, on your calendar, and get ready for some serious Marvel action. The movie will be released in theaters.
