Another Key X-Men Hero Joins the Cast of Deadpool 3

Deadpool fans, get ready for some exciting news! The cast of Deadpool 3 is growing with the return of two more beloved characters from the previous films, including a Fox X-Men hero. This is just one of the many reasons fans are eagerly anticipating the film’s release, especially since it marks Deadpool’s official entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The star-studded cast of the third installment includes Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine, and franchise favorites Dopinder and Blind Al. Fans can also expect to see two Loki stars appearing in the film, according to reports.

But that’s not all. Two new additions to the cast have also been announced: Matthew Macfadyen from Succession and Emma Corrin from The Crown. However, their roles in the film remain unknown at this time. In an exclusive report from Deadline, it was revealed that Stefan Kapicic will be reprising his role as Colossus, a major X-Men hero, in Deadpool 3. Kapicic’s return to the franchise marks the second Fox X-Men character to be confirmed for the threequel, after Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. Stefan Kapicic will return to his role as Colossus, a significant X-Men hero, in Deadpool 3 according to an exclusive report from Deadline.

After Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Kapicic is the second Fox X-Men figure to have his or her involvement in the threequel confirmed. Wade Wilson’s ex-fiancée Vanessa, played by Morena Baccarin in the previous movies, will also be making a comeback. One of the main plot points of Deadpool 2 involved her character being murdered by a criminal, but the Merc with the Mouth later used Cable’s time machine to save her. There have been talks, but it “may or may not work out,” as Baccarin recently stated in a statement regarding the prospect of returning to the Deadpool franchise.

The excitement of fans seems to indicate that a deal with Marvel Studios has now been reached. Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Deadpool in Deadpool 3, which also stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Matthew Macfadyen, and Emma Corrin. The rest of the cast has not yet been revealed. Ryan Reynolds recently provided an update and states that Deadpool 3 production will start right before the summer.

According to a recent Collider report, filming for the movie will begin in London in the spring, so it might be two months before the first frame is captured. Fans can anticipate more plot details and the introduction of new cast members as the movie’s production moves forward. It’s obvious that this movie will still be a continuation of the world established in the previous films, even as it enters the MCU, thanks to the appearance of Deadpool’s non-superhero companions and a number of X-Men heroes.

It’s possible that Deadpool 3 could even serve as a bookend to the Fox world, paving the way for the highly-anticipated X-Men reboot. With so many returning players on board, fans can’t help but wonder which other Fox X-Men and Deadpool characters may make an appearance. Zazie Beetz, who played Domino in Deadpool 2, has hinted at a potential return, and with so many of her co-stars already announced for the threequel, her involvement seems more likely than ever, schedule permitting.

Deadpool 3 is set to hit theaters on November 8, 2024. Fans can hardly wait to see what the Merc with the Mouth has in store for us this time around, as he makes his highly-anticipated entry into the MCU.
