The theatrical release roster for 2023 is massive. 2022 has only delivered two movies that have crossed a Billion. But 2023 could bring at least 5. But besides the superhero movies, here are the 15 most anticipated movies releasing in 2023:
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Paramount and Chris Pine’s first entry in a potential Dungeons & Dragons franchise arrives on March 3.
Creed III
MGM/Amazon is set to release the third Creed outing on March 3. Get ready coz this time, Michael B. Jordan takes on Jonathan Majors as his prime opponent.
John Wick: Chapter 4
The penultimate chapter of the John Wick franchise has been given a March 24 release. It will be a sure-shot hit!
Fast X
Vin Diesel and co return for the 10th installment of the Fast Saga on May 19.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
2023 will be a big year for Paramount, and the next Transformers movie will play a massive role in that. Bumblebee sequel, Rise of the Beasts, will arrive on June 9. Although it could be delayed to December.

Universal competes directly with Barbie through Christopher Nolan’s next venture Oppenheimer on July 21. It features a star-studded cast including Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, and many more.
Meg 2: The Trench
After the success of the first Meg movie, Jason Statham returns in a sequel on August 4.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Paramount’s big year continues on August 4 with yet another TMNT reboot.
Dune: Part Two
WB is investing big in the Dune franchise as Denis Villeneuve’s second movie comes out on November 17.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2
December 20 brings us yet another Ghostbusters movie after their successful return with Afterlife.
Wonka
The Willy Wonka prequel starring Timothee Chalamet is currently scheduled for Dec 15. But it will be moved back or ahead as WB also has Aquaman 2 in the same month.
The Expendables 4
This film is currently undated. But it will indeed arrive sometime in 2023.
