Taika Waititi Explains the Hercules Scene in Thor 4

Thor: Love and Thunder is finally out and it left us completely surprised with everything that happened at the end. Taika Waititi made drastic changes to Thor’s life in Ragnarok, And he has done the same in Thor: Love and Thunder. Spoiler Warning for those who haven’t seen the movie yet. Go watch it already and find out the true meaning of Love and Thunder. This article contains spoilers for the Hercules scene in Thor 4.

Taika Waititi wrote and directed this new adventure of Thor. And now he has come out to explain the film and what happened in it. He recently spoke to Uproxx and revealed why Brett Goldstein has been cast as the God of Strength in MCU. Apparently, the Ted Lasso actor was Kevin Feige’s pick for the role of this Olympian God that is supposed to take on Thor in the future.

 

Waititi said

“Kevin really wanted him to do it, and yeah, Brett’s amazing. He’s great.

And I don’t know if that’s to do with Thor, or if it’s to do with how that will develop. Because, obviously, Hercules, there’s a character from the books as well. And so, yeah, this will be interesting to see because Kevin, he’s obviously the mastermind of all of these threads and how they’ll tie up and how they meet, mix and match. So I’m curious to find out myself.

And it was such a cool moment in the cinema where it played, that people went nuts. They were so excited.”

 

Hercules Scene in Thor 4

We were all excited to see Hercules finally show up in the MCU. He had to take on Thor at some point in this long-running franchise. Thor even knows about this demigod. So, it will certainly be exciting to see him fight against Zeus’ strongest son. Herc may start as an antagonist for Thor 5. But he would obviously, become good by the end.
