Ryan Gosling Wants To Play Ghost Rider (and We Agree With the Casting)
With so many MCU characters coming our way, we were also expecting to see Ghost Rider be introduced through Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, or maybe some other project. But he still hasn’t made his entry into the MCU. Rumor has it that he did shoot a scene as a part of the Illuminati, but that got deleted. So, if the rumor is true, we can be sure that Marvel wants to do something with Ghost Rider. And they could get the perfect guy in for that because Ryan Gosling wants to play Ghost Rider!
Nicolas Cage seemed pretty cool as Ghost Rider but he wasn’t brought back for a cameo. People have been fan-casting Keanu Reeves as Johnny Blaze, but even that move hasn’t been made till now. So, if there is someone who is ready and capable of playing Ghost Rider, then Marvel shouldn’t waste any more time before casting him.
Ryan Gosling is about to star in Netflix’s most expensive movie ever, The Gray Man. And recently MTV News correspondent Josh Horowitz responded to all the rumors about being cast as Nova in the MCU. He said that those casting rumors aren’t true, but he would love to join the MCU as Ghost Rider. Gosling also Extra that he would love it if The Russo Brothers could manifest his wish to be Ghost Rider.
