The Marvel Cinematic Universe is known for keeping the hype amongst the fans of the franchise. Over the years, there have been various ways of doing this, some of these methods involve hiding certain details from the fans in the trailers and other promotional material. Last year we saw the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home featured a moment where one of the villains gets a punch to the face. Fans instantly guessed that it has to be one of the other Spider-Men who was being rumoured to appear in the movie and it all came true and it looks like the same has happened here who can be the edited character in Thor 4 trailer? Let us have a look at possible characters:
During a sequence where Thor and Korg are seen looking upwards and there is a significant amount of space on the left of Thor. Fans are already wondering which character could be significant enough to be hidden in the trailer for Thor 4. Let’s take a look at all the possible candidates who can be this mysterious character that Marvel tweaked within the trailer.
Loki
One of the most emotional moments in the MCU has to be when Thor witnesses the death of his brother Loki at the hands of Thanos. Even though we are aware that Loki is still alive, this information isn’t available to the God of Thunder. It won’t be surprising to see Loki showing up at some point in the movie to reunite with his brother for a rather interesting enemy. Tom Hiddleston is being rumoured to appear as Loki in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and it won’t be surprised if this actually ends up happening in Thor: Love and Thunder instead.
Beta Ray Bill
A character that the MCU has been hinting at for a long time is none other than Beta Ray Bill. So far we have managed to see a lot of variants and versions of Thor and Loki both. Beta Ray Bill was even teased majorly when the character’s face appeared on the Grandmaster’s tower in Sakaar. His character could actually be built into the narrative of the movie as he was chosen as the guardian of the Korbinite race. Maybe Gorr managed to make a move against the Korbinite race and this was something that resulted in him teaming up with Thor.
Mighty Thor
We have now gotten our first look at Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster as Thor. The character looks absolutely comic book accurate and even wields the Mjolnir in the fashion that we had seen her do in the comics. This shot could actually be one of the major moments of the movie and Marvel might have felt like making sure it isn’t revealed this clearly to the fans of the franchise. That would clearly reduce the impact of the scene in the movie.
Hercules
One of the biggest characters who is being rumoured to appear in the movie is Hercules. Ever since it was announced that we would be getting a chance to see Russell Crowe appear in the movie as Zeus, it was assumed that his son might end up appearing in the movie. Fans are well aware that this character is actually one of its biggest allies of Thor. Even the scene appears to be something that will happen quite early in the movie and thus it would make sense for Hercules to appear as an old friend or someone Thor encounters in one of his missions.
Grandmaster
Fans of the previous Thor movie would clearly agree that Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster was an awesome addition to the franchise. It would be interesting to see if he actually ends up doing a lot more than what we saw him do in the previous movie. The character had managed to survive the ending of the previous movie and it won’t be surprising if the duo end up being friendly in Sakaar again.
