Here’s How Much Profit No Way Home Made

There’s no doubt when I say that Spider-Man: No Way Home was 2021’s greatest and highest-anticipated movie. The movie broke all records of a non-Avengers movie and will surely go down in the history as the greatest Spider-Man movie ever made. That is until Marvel reinstates their deal with Tom Holland and gives their fans another trilogy. But as for now, a renowned media company just revealed how much profit No Way Home made:

Spider-Man: No Way Home was a 148 minute-long event that had something for every generation of fans. The movie was the last of Tom Holland’s trilogy but brought closure to Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. Not to mention, gave the fans a good look at what their favourite Spider-Man is up to these days. And if that wasn’t enough nostalgia, the movie saw the return of 5 villains, featured in the older Spider-Man franchises. All this led to a perfect run at the box office that most movies only dream of.

SO HOW MUCH DID SPIDER-MAN: NWH MAKE IN PROFITS?

Deadline’s reputed media company just revealed that the latest Spider-Man sequel doubled its profits after the last movie. The new NWH movie made “well north of $610 million in profit”. This number includes “all ancillaries” like production and marketing costs. But that’s more impressive when you take a look at these numbers. Tom Holland’s first solo outing in 2016’s Spider-Man: Homecoming made “$200.1 million in profit.” And just the next movie, Far From Home beat that with a total profit of “$339 million.” Those are some impressive numbers, arent they?

So, when people thought that Spider-Man numbers won’t go up than those $339 million, NWH proved them wrong by going even higher than that. And not just up, it doubled them. This lines up perfectly with Spider-Man being the most profitable property for Sony. Because after NWH, they would certainly want to make more movies, and soon. Because for a character whose live-action has been coming out since 2002 to be this profitable is no mean feat. And now that MArvel is partly on this train, this cash cow for Sony ain’t going nowhere.

How Much Profit No Way Home Made

Sony owes this success to the loyal Spidey fans and a wave of fan-generated hype that lasted for more than a year. This movie has already created hype for the next Tom Holland-led Spider-Man movie that is yet to be announced, which would have been impossible for any other franchise before Spider-Man. But that’s what Marvel does, isn’t it?

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently available for digital purchase. So, if you haven’t checked it out at least 5 times, we advise you to go out and get it.
