Moon Knight was released on 30th March. Although the show is quite new, the pilot episode made quite the splash in the entertainment industry. This was for 2 reasons primarily, the first being that the show follows a rather obscure Marvel character who fights on the streets but has a direct line to a God. The second reason for the chatter is that the show focuses on latent mental illnesses and what it is like to live with a disassociative personality disorder. Oscar Isaac plays Steven Grant who has two other people living in his body. Khonshu and Marc Spector take control of the body when they can to make sure everyone survives. So here is everything Marc Spector did when he took ever the body.

Stealing The Scarab
The first skip we see in the episode comes when Steven finds himself in another country, unconscious, hurt and several other things. His jaw is dislocated and he is discombobulated. Steven wakes up and waves to a dude in a window. It takes a few seconds before the said dude can believe his eyes, then he and his mate promptly start shooting at Steven with automatic firearms. This leads to a chase sequence where Steven slowly starts becoming aware of the extent of his “mental illness” and “night roaming habits”. It seems that when Steven thought he was sleeping, Marc took his body to steal a scarab from Arthur Harrow.
Beating The First Group
Shortly after Arthur Harrow is made privy to the theft of the scarab and the death of two of his loyal soldiers, he tries to find the culprit himself. He does this by issuing an order to the citizens of the village. Upon hearing the said order all of them immediately kneel down. All but Steven Grant, who takes some time to realize what is happening. This hesitation blows his cover and Steven is soon face-to-face with Harrow, who is demanding that he hand over the Scarab. Steven tries his best but Marc won’t let him and before long our protagonist is surrounded. Marc takes over the body again and when Steven comes back his hand is bloody and there are several people lying unconscious on the ground.
Killing The Stowaway
The next time we hear Marc is when Steven is on the run in the ice-cream truck and an armed henchman of Harropw boards it. Steven struggles to maintain control of the truck and fight off the invader but loses focus for a second. He passes out and when he comes to, Steven realizes that the henchman is dead and he’s holding the gun. It seems that Marc took control and disposed of the henchman. “The Mercenary” as Harrow calls him has some skills in his arsenal, it seems.
What Is This? Fast & The Furious?
Even though the henchman is killed by Marc, Steven is far from safe. There are several cars following him and he’s trying to run away in an ice cream truck. He struggles to maintain control of the vehicle and this results in him losing control of the body again. Marc takes over and disposes of some of the extra vehicles in his pursuit. During this altercation, it seems he turned the vehicle around to shoot at the henchman and drove in reverse. We say that because when Steven takes back control we see that the truck is going in reverse and the windshield of several vehicles has been shot out.
Time To Go Back Home
Once Steven is able to land at a safe place after getting away from the henchman of Harrow, Marc again takes over his body and uses it to return safely back to his home. Steven loses consciousness and wakes in his apartment thinking to himself that it is Thursday (when it is actually Sunday) and that the whole thing was a dream. It seems that Marc is using Steven as an alter ego so he can lay low away from Harrow’s grasp, who clearly knows Marc from his previous line of work.
Stop Looking
Once Steven is back home, he tries to resume his life. But there are some serious problems with his life. He’s lost two days, his date was stood up, and his goldfish has been swapped. The entire thing is too bizarre for Steven to grasp. So the chap starts pulling at the string which unwraps his reality. the character is warned by Marc and Khonshu several times during the sequence to “Stop Looking”. He refuses and ends up losing time and waking up on a bus. It seems that Marc and Khonshu quietly conspired while Steven took a nap inside the body. But Arthur Harrow has been following Steven on the bus and things are about to spill past the tipping point.
Moon Knight Transformation
The next time when we meet Marc, he appears in the mirror and quietly pleads with Steven to hand over control. There is a jackal chasing their body and the only way they survive is by turning the body over to Khonshu. However, for the Moon Knight transformation, Steven has to relinquish control. At this point, he is doubtful about the entire process but realizes that he must do it to survive. This leads to a fantastic suit-up sequence and a bloody battle with the Jackal. We don’t get to see it but it is subtly implied that it was great as we see sinks flying out of the bathroom and Jackal being dragged back in as Moon Knight wails on him.
