Major Loki Theory Debunked By Multiverse of Madness Trailer

There are a lot of theories surrounding the upcoming MCU projects. Fans are wondering if any of them will actually end up coming true considering fans really got things beyond their expectations with Spider-Man: No Way Home. There is a lot to unpack in terms of the narrative now that the Multiverse has paved the way for endless possibilities. The Doctor Strange sequel will actually dive deeper into the concept and pick on elements that have been left around by some of the past projects of Marvel. It seems that the latest trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actually cancels one major Loki theory that leads into the film.

Multiverse of Madness

The latest trailer for the movie took things to a whole new level and actually ended up confirming some popular theories. Now fans are building upon existing theories based on the latest revelations. The movie is set to feature a lot of the variants of both Strange and Wanda and possibly other characters. That builds up some real tension considering not all the variants are equal amounts of good and bad. There is no clear indication towards who might be the antagonists in the movie and that has actually increased the excitement. Ever since the trailer has come out fans are breaking it down to explore every possible detail.

While a lot of revelations have come out, the most exciting bit amongst them is the fact that Patrick Stewart will be in the movie. Even though it is not known yet, the most likely chance is that the actor will be playing Professor X in the movie. Fans have come up with the possible theory that this character will be a part of the Illuminati that will actually summon Doctor Strange from the Sacred Timeline. There were theories making rounds that Wanda might also end up being summoned by the Time Variance Authority but things seem to have taken a different turn now.

Wanda’s Loki Theory

The very first full trailer for the movie appeared in the post-credits scene for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Here fans saw that Wanda was using her powers in front of a yellowish opening. It seemed rather similar to the yellow portals that we had seen the TVA use in the Disney+ series Loki.

The color contrast matched the way the portals appeared when Loki was about to enter while following Sylvie. But the new trailer actually shows where Wanda is during this scene.

According to the trailer, Wanda is actually in a fight in the halls of the Illuminati’s headquarters and they seem to be on fire.

The halls can be seen a lot more clearly before the chaos as Doctor Strange is being taken by the Ultron bots to the Illuminati. It would be absolutely awesome to see what causes this level of chaos in these halls.

Loki In Doctor Strange 2

While this does not mean anything regarding Loki’s appearance in the movie. Tom Hiddleston was supposed to reprise his role in the movie as the God of Mischief. It might make sense considering another popular theory based on the trailer suggest that the Illuminati will replace the TVA. Loki might be another one of the people who end up getting summoned by league of superiors heroes looking over the multiverse. Based on the very scene Wanda is seen fighting, we can expect a lot more excitement as the character seems to be fighting a mysterious superhero.

Loki Theory

There are various theories making rounds about who this super being might end up being. Based on the character design and the cosmic energy surrounding the character fans have considered it to be a variant of Captain Marvel. This might mean that we might get to see Maria Rambeau in action and in a rather awesome confrontation with Wanda. Considering the halls of the Illuminati seems to be one fire this fight will cause some real damage. Considering Loki will also appear in the movie along with a lot of new appearances based on the trailer, the movie is gonna be absolutely wild.
