All DCEU Actors Who Are Also In The Fast & Furious Franchise

The Fast & Furious franchise is expanding each year with a new project and each of these projects adds to the cast of the movies. These new cast members appear in certain roles and later end up playing some rather major roles in the franchise. Considering the franchise has had a total of 9 films along with a spinoff film, there have been a considerable number of cast members by now. Most of these characters are actually rather successfully established actions stars with a rather interesting resume when it comes to that genre. Another expanding franchise in the DC Extended Universe and it seems they are also increasing their cast with some interesting characters making their debut. Let’s take a look at all the DCEU actors who are part of the Fast & Furious franchise as well.

John Cena

The actor made his debut in both DCEU and the Fast & Furious franchise last year. This actually made the actor one of the biggest stars for 2021. We got to see him appear as Vin Diesel’s Dom’s estranged brother Jakob Toretto who was a super spy himself. The actor was actually the villain of the movie in the beginning but his character makes a turn for the good around the end of the movie. This is quite similar to the actor’s turn in the DCEU as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker. The character is actually a villain and gets shot and left for the dead by Bloodsport. But the actor is now slowly making a turn for the antihero with his appearance in the spinoff series based on him.

Idris Elba

The actor made quite an awesome debut in the DCEU with his appearance as Robert DuBois/Bloodsport in The Suicide Squad. But before making this appearance the actor appeared as quite a supervillain in the Fast & Furious spinoff film Hobbs & Shaw. The actor actually dies in the end after dealing with two protagonists played by Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham. Not much is known regarding when we will get to see him reprise his role as Bloodsport in the DCEU. But considering the success of the HBO Max series Peacemaker, we can expect to see more of the characters from the movie have roles in the future of the franchise.

Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot is quite renowned for her appearance in the role of DC superhero Wonder Woman. But before that, the actor was also popular for her appearance as Gisele Yashar in the Fast & Furious franchise. Following her debut in the fourth Fast & Furious movie and followed that with appearances in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6 following his death. She also shot for a cameo in Furious 7 but that was left on the cutting room floor. Her appearances actually gave the character a fan following and people still hope she will reprise her role in the upcoming sequels.

Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the best action stars and is a part of various franchises. It was rather surprising to hear that the actor hasn’t appeared in the role of a superhero yet. He will be making his debut in the genre with Black Adam with the titular role and it is supposed to be one of the most powerful characters in the DCEU. The sad thing is the actor won’t probably be seen in any of the main Fast & Furious franchise movies in the future except for the Hobbs & Shaw sequel. He made his debut in the car heist movies with Fast Five.

Jason Momoa

Jason Momoa turned heads with his remarkable appearance as Khal Drogo in the HBO series Game of Thrones. This is the role that led to him being cast in the role of Aquaman for the DCEU. The actor made his debut in the role with his first appearance with a cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But the character made his appearance in a solo film for the role and it was actually one of the highest-grossing movies in the franchise. Now the actor has been cast as one of the villains in Fast & Furious 10. Often the villains end up becoming recurring actors in the movies and the same can be expected from Momoa.

Michael Rooker

Michael Rooker made his debut in both the franchises in the same year as John Cena. The actor had a small role in both the movies that were released from the franchises in 2021. There’s no confirmation if the actor will reprise his role in the future of both the franchises. His character is actually alive in Fast & Furious and that might allow him to return.
