Where Is Hawkeye’s Family Farmhouse Located?

Marvel’s Hawkeye series showed us that his family is still situated at the family’s farm and they had probably only come to New York to watch Rogers: The Musical. There were various theories surrounding the idea that Clint might have separated from his wife but such is not the case. We are made aware quite early in the series that his wife is aware of the problems due to which he had to now stay back in New York. The show is giving us a lot of insight into the character of Hawkeye and driving us through his perspective. We are still left curious about the location of the Hawkeye family farmhouse where his family lives.

Hawkeye’s Family Farmhouse

Hawkeye primarily focuses on events that take place in New York with the introduction of Kate Bishop and Echo. But we are also shown that the major part of the narrative is the chance of Clint returning home after handling everything back in New York. We get to see the Christmas preparation taking place in his house when Barton calls his wife. The first time we got to see Barton’s farmhouse back in Avengers: Age of Ultron, when Hawkeye decides to take the Avengers off the grid.

The movie uses this opportunity to show us Clint’s family in Missouri. It is based on an arrangement that Clint had with Nick Fury and SHIELD so that he could keep his family and their location a secret from everyone except Natasha. But later after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Barton seems to have been moved to a new unspecified location as he was being kept on house arrest. The location still resembles the isolated and rural setting of the initial farmhouse and this might mean that this is still in Missouri. There are other locations that might be used in the movie based on the comics like Iowa where the Barton farm is located in the comics.

There is a clear time difference between New York and his home as it was indicated when his son calls him and this does put the major chances of it being in Missouri. This place and his home is one of the only reasons why Clint keeps on fighting as, unlike other heroes, he has been capable of managing his family while saving the world. Let’s see if we will get to watch Barton return to his family in time for Christmas.

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Fra Fee as Kazi, Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, Brian d’Arcy James, and possibly, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin.
